Don't let the price fool you, it is a good product and worth your money.
I bought this pump to rebuild the in tank fuel pump assembly in an 18 year old Honda Accord. i was a bit skeptical of a fuel pump that only cost just over $20 but I figured i'd give it a shot especially with it being an amazon prime item with a 1 year warranty. I read a few horror story reviews of people who said they installed it and it was a dud but they were old and the most recent reviews said it worked fine without any problems.tip for install- Just in case I did get a dud and because I didn't want to install a new fuel pump twice i devised a simple fix for that situation, before reinstalling the tank after replacing the pump, I reconnected the electric to the pump and cycled the ignition to the on position while my buddy directed the fuel line into a bucket to catch any fuel that would hopefully be flowing. low and behold, it starting spewing gas from the line. so i knew the pump was working and the flow rate was good and I didn't even have to waste my time ripping out a fuel tank twice to figure it out.anyway, this pump is working great. I did have to purchase the strainer separate from the pump so you will want to keep that in mind when you buy this new pump because reusing an old tank strainer is a "no-no" and can end up starving your new pump for fuel and burn it up almost immediately. And if you don't also replace the strainer your warranty is void. so spend the extra $7 or $8 and get a new strainer with this pump and do the job right the first time.this was my least expensive fuel pump replacement that i have ever taken part in. when all was said and done, I spent a whooping $28 for this pump and the strainer. (I also replaced the in line fuel filter that is not part of that total that I had picked up at a local store) yes, I had to rebuild the original in tank fuel pump assembly but a brand new fuel pump for less than $30 with a 1 year warranty is unheard of! definaltly worth the gamble in my book. I mean, I rolled the dice and won. I'm betting you will too.if this pump ends up dieing an untimely death, I will update this post to let you know what and when, but as of a week after the install, the car is still running better than it had before the original pump died.

Works good so far
I installed this in a NB Miata, the existing one was making a lot of noise (like it was going to die). Great price. I popped this one in, nice and quiet, I drove a 500 mile trip no issue. If it dies prematurely I will up date this.

Autobest F4230 Electric Fuel Pump
This fuel pump was stated to be a directfit for my 1999 Honda CR-v. When I received it, it looked like it would be. However once getting ready to finish up on the install and plug it up, the plug did not match up. I had to clip off the plug from the vehicle wiring harness and modify. Don't like doing this, however vehicle is a daily and had to do it. Part not as stated in discription.

Great replacement for 2002 Honda Civic
Worked great on my daily driver 2002 honda civic. Had a couple extra parts I didn't need, that's fine. use them elsewhere.Pump worked great, have put about 5000 miles on it already since I bought it and works fine.Replaced this along with the strainer and filter to just get it all over with and it was vastly cheaper than having it done at a mechanic's. a friend and I did the whole swap in a leisurely hour and a half, taking our time.I recommend it! fits perfect!

Garbage. Fired car up once and then died.
Was replacing the pressure regulator on my Civic so I figured I'd do the pump, too. The old one wasn't bad, but it had 140k miles on it, and since I was taking everything apart anyway I'd figured I'd replace it.Everything went back together fine. Reinstalled the pump assembly and hooked everything back up. Turned the key over a few times to get some fuel back in the lines. Car fired up but hesitated badly. Let it run for a bit to make sure fuel was flowing. Turned it off and went to turn it on again. Nothing. Pump was completely dead. Tore everything apart again and re-installed the old pump and it fired right up.Only redeeming quality is it's pretty much plug-and-play exact fit on my 7th gen Civic.
