Budgie heaven
I put this cork perch in my large budgie cage as an additional perch. The good news is that my budgies completely adored it, and were on it all the time. They loved it so much. The bad news is, they (six of them) totally demolished it in a week. It’s a lot of money for something they reduce to cork crumbs in a week. Having said that, a chewing budgie is a happy budgie; maybe I will buy them another one for a Christmas present.

My birds don’t seem to use it

Enjoyable treat
My big budgie loved this cork perch, sat on it for a about two weeks and pecked at it till it fell apart. I always have a Woodlands willow ring attached to the top of the cage which she loves to peck at and I think the ring is much better value and stays intact far longer than the cork perch. That said, she really lived it and it was a nice change. I’d definitely recommend it as a occasional treat. It is always lovely to see her so happy and engrossed lol.

My birds and I highly recommend this birds ‘seat’!
My diamond doves LOVE their cork perch so much! I’m so pleased I gave this a try as my birds seem to thoroughly enjoy sitting on it. They seem to queue up waiting for their turn! So much so I now have more than one in their flight cages and to see a bonded pair snuggle up together on the perch is, is sheer delight.The softness of the perch - compared to a wooden ‘shelf’, must feel lovely on the birds’ feet and I think the cork is warm to roost on. I’ve tried other wooden shelves/seats, wicker ones, all sorts really but none are as popular as this cork one.I would highly recommend and I’m sure my birds would too!

Fantastic Cage Addition
Our budgies love this platform. It’s become their favourite toy with lots of continuous carry on. Excellent purchase.

A Toilet, seat, and destructible toy - All in one!
I have 2 lovebirds. They are both super shy, and incredibly destructive. They normally take weeks to try a new toy (or perch, took about 2 months for them to try their new, now favourite, coconut) but they took instantly to this bark slab (and started ripping it to peices). Now the slab is 2/3s of it's original size, and it might be time to reorder.
