I spent weeks looking for the right topper for our sofa to make it more comfortable for sleeping and I am happy to report that we made the right decision. It is perfect in every way! My husband who has insomnia and often ends up sleeping half the night on the sofa, gives it two thumbs up. I was concerned because this said it was 75 inches long and our sofa is only 70inches. I am extremely surprised how well made and comfortable this futon feels. Simply amazing. If you are looking for a firm feel but comfortable, I very much recommend this futon. It’s true that it’s not easy to storage. I actually sleep on it and it’s amazing for my back. I don’t feel the floor at all.

Not bad but too thin to use as a floor mattress in my opinion. My hip hurts after sleeping on this on carpeted floor.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My son absolutely LOVES this mattress. He has autism so finding a comfortable SAFE bed is so important. It is extremely well made, durable, light and I was thrilled with the price. Comfort:So comfortable! I would have one if I didn't have a bad back. We will be ordering a queen size for our family room for movie nights

I sleep on a Japanese sleeping mat every day as I find most beds uncomfortable. This is an excellent mat. It’s very comfortable, lightweight, and easy to fold. My only wish is if it had something attached to close it once it was folded. I use a bungee cord to keep it closed, which works fine. Excellent quality for the price.

I am Japanese and grew up sleeping on futons. From my perspective this product is not a “Japanese” futon. It is thin and firm. It also came ripped. I am not even surprised that it was ripped because you can see that they forcibly bend the futon in half and roll it up to fit it in a tiny box. There is no respect towards the product they make. When I first relocated to the US, I bought two futons from FULI. They are still different from what I used in Japan but so far the closest product to a “Japanese futon” in my opinion.
