Review: easy to install - A great value disposal that’s quiet, reliable, and easy to install. I'm absolutely not a DIYer but I do it because I'm cheap and would rather just do it myself if I could than hire a handyman. And this one, I absolutely surprised myself that I was able to install this with ease. I only needed a flathead screwdriver and a Phillips screwdriver to install it. And of course, I had to buy plumber's putty for the installation—which I knew beforehand to buy before this arrived. Thanks to YT videos! This is perfect for small to medium households. There's no need for those 1 HP or higher models. This one does the job well. Though, this one doesn't have the manual crank underneath that the InSinkErator unit I had replaced with this. This is made by the same company that makes American Standard. This Waste Maid is a winner.
