King Arthur, Essential Goodness Protein Pancake Mix, Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Kosher, 1 Pound (Pack of 6)

I love the product, but unfortunately the boxes have been mislabeled. I've ordered twice now, and instead of getting a 6 pack of the super grain mix, I get a single box of the plant protein mix. Looking at the bottom of the plant protein box, the label sticker on the bottom is for the 6 pack of the super grain.

We got this mix by accident because the store was out of our regular stuff, but now we can not live without it. We regularly add blueberries to these pancakes (drop them in as soon as the batter’s in the pan) and then eat them with Greek yogurt for extra protein. Delicious! We’ve turned other friends and family onto them too.The pancakes are light and fluffy. What makes them irresistible though is the smell... omg. It will lure late sleepers from their cozy beds. King Arthur adds vanilla to the mix and to be honest it’s better than when I add vanilla extract to homemade mixes. I used to see powdered vanilla in stores when I lived in Germany, but I always stuck with vanilla extract which I brought with me. Now I’m going to have to experiment with some of that powdered stuff when baking because the results in this mix are fantastic.=====UPDATE========= 5/2021Like some other reviewers cited, we also got a mistaken shipment. A pack of 2 instead of the 2 packs of 6 we were meant to get (total 12–yes we love this stuff!!). We’ve ordered these 6-packs before, so when dealing with Amazon it was a numbers game before something went wrong I guess. I contacted Amazon via chat, which I’d never done. It was very easy and they immediately sent out a replacement, but unfortunately it only contained another 2 boxes and they were both broke :( still leaving us short 8 boxes we’d paid for. This isn’t anything to do with King Arthur or this product but just buying on Amazon because when I click on this page, or “buy again” it could be from any opportunistic seller. It isn’t necessarily from Amazon or KA directly. So I made my most recent purchase of 6 Protein Pancake Mixes from King Arthur’s website directly ($39.65 w/ shipping). I needed vanilla anyhow and I never buy vanilla extract on Amazon because it’s too easy to knockoff.Five times out of six we’ve had no problem ordering this pancake mix on Amazon but it’s annoying that scamming sellers suddenly jump in and start selling periodically. For some products I’d rather be safe and support a company directly. After ordering from KA they send you a coupon for $10 off your next purchase if made within the next 30 days, so that’s probably how the sellers here are making a profit. Unfortunately even our family doesn’t need that much pancake mix!

The mix itself is great. Tasty, I mix it with Bisquick to add a little flavor and creaminess. Was just disappointed one of the six boxes contained a bag of the mix that had a small slit in its side. Themix had leaked all over the inside of that individual box. The mix had also made it's way outside the box holding all six boxes of mix. Disappointed. Seemed like it had been cut (neither the shipping boxes nor its own box were punctured).

Though I like all kinds of pancakes, I'm still very partial to specific styles and densities. This is my all time favorite mix period. I try new pancake mixes and new recipes constantly throughout the year. Every Saturday or Sunday. I also used to be a professional baker and take pancakes way too seriously. I recognize I'm not the average user. I will try to update this post with images and my exact directions. I prefer a denser, thicker pancake with a lot of flecking of chocolate chips.

The package arrived timely but The bags of mix had weevils in them before they were unsealed or opened.

I enjoyed the mix for pancakes. Since the instructions for waffles (and pancakes) appeared to be very different than other brands, I contacted King Arthur's "experienced bakers". She was unable to help me determine the appropriate egg, mix, milk and oil ratios for a 1 cup mixture since the instructions on the box are for the ENTIRE box. I prepared the mix like I have for a variety of other brands, but the results were disappointing. I have a Breville 4 section waffle iron. If I followed the instructions on the box, I would have finished with maybe 20+ waffles. Despite the ancient grains, the end result probably isn't any healthier than other whole wheat pancake mixes. The additional sugar accounts for any flavor enhancement you might encounter.

I love this protein pancake mix, it’s so good and you don’t even need syrup or anything it’s good the way it is or even with some fruit. My son also loves these pancakes and he’s 11! So I know it’s a good product

I only received one box, not 6 boxes, and I paid full price! :(
