I bought this bug zapper for my back patio, and it’s been amazing. We love sitting outside in the evenings, but the mosquitos were making it miserable. This zapper has really makes a difference. I like that it works both plugged in and solar, so we can leave it charging during the day and then move it around wherever we need it at night. The built-in lantern feature is a nice bonus when we’re camping, and it’s surprisingly bright for its size. Most importantly, it’s safe to use around kids and pets. There are no dangerous chemicals or sprays, just a clean zap. It's lightweight, portable, and very reliable. It's one of those gadgets that just works and makes life easier. I highly recommend this if you want to enjoy summer nights without constantly swatting bugs.

This is the worst product I’ve ever purchased through Amazon. It turned on for only a few days last summer but did not kill one bug. When I attempted to use it a few days ago, it randomly shut off and will not turn back on. There is no online manual to refer to and the online “troubleshooting” pages are USELESS. The product is made of cheap plastic and the charging cord is extremely short. There is no way to access the bulb in order to change it. Shame on you Bell & Howell!!🤨

I like to do yoga outside in the evenings when it is cooler but unfortunately that’s when mosquitos are most active. I like the portability of this zapper because I can set it up by where I practice and it helps lure them away from me. It has a handle for carrying it or hanging it up. I like that I don’t need to be near an outlet and I don’t even need to have access to an outlet at all if I want to take this camping. It charges via the solar panel on top during the day and is ready for me to use in the evening. It functions as a zapper and also has a handy LED light built in as well. It works well for mosquitoes and effectively reduces the number that bother me when I’m outside.

It’s a very good bug zapper but it does die super fast if you don’t have it outside with the solar. Other then that we love it just wish it last longer if you charge it.

Very powerful and effective. Like that I can use on tabletops of hang up. One of the best feaures of this is not only can it be powered by USB BUT it's actually solar powered so I was able to hang from a tree away from our seating area so as not to draw bugs to us as we sit outside befre being 'zapped'. This also means we can take away camping with us and gives so much more flexibility on where you can positon it when in use - massive selling point for us!

This item needs to be constantly recharged. It also didn't attract or catch anything it was stated to work for.

Amazing bug

This product is very poor, at home it never killed one single insect, then I went camping for three days. There were thousands of flys and they were not attracted to the light, day or night! Then on the third day, it killed one fly! I am very disappointed . I received this item on June 20th 2025 and today is July 30th, and it already stopped working all together!. I received this item on June 20th 2025 and as of July 30th 2025 it no longer works! No lights, no big zapper, battery no longer charges! It is completely dead !
