A Must-Read Book to Become a Coach with Limitless Success for your Coachees
I was recommended this book by a friend who is a Master Coach. I am so happy for that recommendation. My findings; well, if you are a coach or considering a coaching career, or a leader with aspiration to learn more about great leadership, this is the book for you.I came across this book when telling my friend I was seeking a source clearly explaining step-by-step processes, models and powerful questions. This book took me to another professional level in many aspects, as I both wanted to explore methods for improvement of my own life as well as a leader and coach. The absolute best outcome for me after reading this book - written by the gurus Dr. Peter Chee and Jack Canfield - is of course the possibility to use it in daily life after reading it just once. It’s full of visual models and cases studies. For me, the best part as complement to the theories is the “scripts” and not least, several hundreds of situation-based examples of powerful coaching questions. There is also an index at the end of the book, so it is an easy to use reference book, even in live coaching sessions, if needed.Nowadays, I also use the Meta Model 30-6-8 – in details explained in the book - as a coaching foundation & reference for developing my own coaching career. The only thing I feel is missing in the book is that all models and visuals are in black and white. I would have preferred some of the visuals and graphs to be in color as they are so great and it would be even more empowering. However, no big issue for me and I also decided to buy the audio book and together with the book it’s a great learning companion.I highly recommend this book. Probably the best investment a coach or leader can make when desiring to take their knowledge to another level. At least it worked for me and I have read several books about coaching.

Jam-Packed With Solid Coaching
This book should be read by anyone who wants to be an ace at coaching. Likewise, if you are seeking a personal breakthrough for yourself, devour the book. Why? So you become less of a self-critic and more of a powerful self-coach. We all talk to ourselves more than to anybody else in the world. Our inner dialog is EXTREMELY important, and this book can seriously upgrade those conversations with yourself. You'll become better at self-directed change.Canfield and Chee deal in specifics, not fuzzy abstractions or vague concepts. Their book is one I'll read over and over because there are so many clean, actionable guidelines...so many crisp insights...so many helpful examples. Open the book to any page, start reading, and you'll get a great message.I bought it just a few days ago and it's already full of underlines, margin notes to myself, and starred passages that really hit home to me. If they coauthor a sequel, I'm buying it.

Love the many case studies!
Great book. I have been coaching for many years and this book has helped me to reflect on some of the coaching techniques I have been using, and opening up my mind to new ways of helping people reach their full potential. I especially enjoyed reading the many case studies included in the book, which helped translating the coaching frameworks described to real life situations. Good reading material for new and experienced coaches!

I can only but recommend this book, one of the best in my hands for a long time, and I am an avid reader. I have never highlighted so many passages of a book. This book destills knowledge, passion, solid research, willingness to share, and deep care about others. In this book you will find all you need to understand what real coaching is, the coaching process, and many tools to bring your coaching skills to next level. This is not a one time read book, but a manual to come back, time after time. Thank you Mr. Canfield and Dr. Chee for such inspiring work.

Print Quality Not the Greatest
I originally read this book that I borrowed from the library. Great content and I learned a lot so I thought it was worthy of investing in buying a copy for myself. As I still had the copy from the library when I received my own new copy, I was very disappointed to see that the image, print and paper quality were awful. First, the cover is a different shade with a yellow-ish green tone. Instead of a nice thick white paper, it is now yellowish looking. The paper is thinner so the ink from the other side produces a ghosting effect of the words. AND the actual text looks fuzzy, not nice and crisp. It looks like it's been printed by an inkjet printer and not a quality printing press. It looks like someone is trying to save printing costs while still charging for a premium hardcover book. Very disappointed.

Grundlagen, Konkrete Hinweise, Beispiele, Fallstudien
