Very high quality, recommende
Easy to assemble, quite solid, and a bargain. Not the net's fault that bunnies are impossibly fast. The cover of the instructions is unintentionally hysterical but you can have that pleasure if and when you buy it.

Good quality net, heavy duty handle.
This is a good quality net. Every wildlife rehabber should have one, in case you need to catch an animal to help it. Itās just a bit heavy on the end which makes it a bit awkward to handle.

One of the best budget nets I've ever owned
I got this to test without taking a good look at it as I can always use another net for fishing and with the kids to catch frogs and such. Even name brand nets these days seem cheap and disposable. So imagine my surprise when I received this today and realized it is way more robust and has more utility than most nets I own.Pros:1. Rubberized netting makes it easy to land fish without your hook or fish fins getting stuck in it. This results in quicker release and less time forcing the hook out of non-rubberized netting.2. It's modular. You effectively have 4 different lengths you can set it. This design is more robust than a telescoping handle.3. It packs down into a small form factor and includes a carrying mesh bag.4. It feels much heavier duty than many nets. But this also amounts to a slightly heavier net. To me it's a worthwhile trade off. You can also just take it with the rubberized handle piece only if you are hiking and it's not as cumbersome to carry long distance.5. I was worried about the handle pieces and the net being connected via a screw-in design. To me this seemed like if weight in the net shifts when landing a fish or catching an animal, that it might start to unscrew. To my surprise, once you screw it in tight, it holds pretty well in place.Cons:1. The modular construction is not telescopic. Thus you have to set the net handle length prior to using.2. With all pieces, it can be cumbersome to carry on a long day of shore fishing or hiking--however, you don't have to use all handle pieces.Overall I'm very impressed. I have name brand nets that aren't built to this quality. Contrary to another reviewer, I have no issues getting the net part open and locked in place. The coupler that connects the handle piece to the net itself helps seat the net properly if you keep twisting it. I'm so excited to use this net!

Great for Chickens
This is a nice, durable net. The handle is made of metal. The net is thickened rubber. If you leave something in it long enough, it could probably chew through, but if you're working quickly, you shouldn't have that issue I think. I'm no professional and didn't get this for biting things. I got this for my chickens, who sometimes make grabbing one out of a crowd a little bit of a chase. They are pretty clingy and don't leave from around their coop/run very far, so I don't think I'll have to use it for a wild chicken chase like that, but I could see this being useful for that or to get a chicken out of a lower branch of a tree (though they'll eventually come down). It's got a nice wide opening for a fully grown or larger bantam chicken. I could probably catch a goose or duck also. Turkey might be a little big, but check the dimensions compared to the turkey, since it actually might work, at least for some time before its fully grown. If you have a small dog that runs off, it might help to catch them as well. I have a 15 lb Yorkie who I could fit half of his body into. So very small breeds of dogs it could be helpful with. It was quite hard to lift him (we tried catching him in the house for fun) and his claw did get stuck both times, so do be careful if you do catch a dog this way and with detangling his claws when taking him out of it. It was very easy to put together and only took about a minute or two. It comes with a net bag if you want to take it apart and store it smaller.

Great for my š°
I recently purchased the Catch Net Small Animal Control Net to help safely handle small animals around my property, and Iāve been very pleased with its performance.Build Quality:The stainless steel splicing handle is sturdy and feels durable, even during extended use. The pole extends smoothly and locks securely, giving confidence when reaching out to catch animals. The net itself is made from a tough, fine mesh thatās gentle enough not to harm small animals but strong enough to resist tearing or biting.Functionality:This net works well for a wide range of animals. Iāve personally used it for catching stray cats, small dogs, chickens, and even a raccoon that wandered too close. Itās lightweight enough to handle with one hand, yet long enough to provide some distance for safety when dealing with more aggressive animals.Ease of Use:The netās opening is wide, which makes targeting and scooping animals much easier, especially for faster or flighty creatures. Itās also collapsible for easy storage, which is a great bonus if you donāt have much space.Best Use Cases:⢠Feral cats or small dogs⢠Poultry like chickens, ducks, and geese⢠Small wildlife such as rabbits or raccoons⢠Aquatic use for fish (though itās not specifically a fishing net, it performs well in a pinch)Pros:āļø Sturdy stainless steel poleāļø Strong yet gentle net materialāļø Great for a wide range of animalsāļø Lightweight and easy to maneuverāļø Collapsible for storageCons:ā May be too small for larger or more powerful animalsā Not ideal for professional wildlife rescue requiring heavy-duty equipment
