This is a class product. Distintictive but subtle aroma: long lasting. Is this the best aftershave in the world? Must be one of the contenders.

I have been looking for this as I used it many years go and thought it was discontinued - happy to report same great fragrance and was delivered very quickly

This is not the original smell of the stuff made back in the eighties although the bottle & box look the same. Not a very nice smell.

This is a reboot of the product after it being unavailable for several years. Odd boxes still were still kicking around and were selling for upwards of a hundred pounds on ebay. This coupled with lots of petitions and people calling for it to be brought back seemed to yield the desired result as it was resurrected a year or so ago. As others have pointed out however, this is just not the real deal. It only last about 30% of the time the original did and it has a bit of a synthetic note like those fake street vendor versions of famous perfumes have - just something lacking when smells are produced entirely in a lab rather than blended with natural ingredients. I believe Dunhill is now produced by Proctor and Gamble and this perfume is distributed by Inter Parfums inc (hence the made in the USA on the label now). I recently was able to compare it to some dregs of the original my brother happened to still have a bottle of. In spite of it being 10 years old, the difference was like night and day. Complex and rich, making this version seem bland. Still OK for a toot of something fresh for day use, but sorry, just not a patch on the original and I'm surprised so few people reviewing this product notice this fact.

Used this aftershave in the late 80's. I saw some on here and thought I would give it a go. Reminded me of smoke filled clubs, espadrilles, no socks, permed hair and rolled up sleeves of my Miami Vice look alike suit. All that said, it smells fantastic, masculine, woody but fresh too.... right off to see if I can buy an Audi Quattro Coupe now and I'm back

Was war das für eine Freude! Nach Jahren der ergebnislosen Suche, konnte ich diesen Duft endlich wieder finden. Schon vor gut 20 Jahren war dieser herb-fruchtige Duft ganz auf meiner Wellenlänge. Dann haben wir uns irgendwie aus den Augen verloren und als ich ihn wieder mal Kaufen wollte, hieß es, der sei aus dem Programm genommen und nicht mehr erhältlich. Ist er aber doch. Anscheinend handelt es sich bei den auf dem Markt befindlichen Beständen um Überbleibsel aus der originalen Produktion. Daher hatte ich vermutet, die Intensität der Dufte wäre etwas geringer oder der Duft würde schneller verfliegen - aber das kann ich beides nicht bestätigen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden!

If you are a fan of the 1980s scent that Dunhill discontinued -- and only recently reintroduced, this is close to it. I've had disappointing results in the past when ordering what may have been counterfeit or reverse engineered cologne. But this is close to the real deal - or if it is not an official Dunhill product, sure smells like the classic fragrance I love so much. Addendum: However, as another review points out, I have noticed that the scene does not last nearly as long as the original fragrance. That's the most obvious difference. It smells similar but the old perfume used to linger all day and on my clothes. This does not
