This is a very sturdy and well-built machine. It is bigger than I expected but it is well worth the counterspace. (It is larger than most coffee makers.) It works very well at taking the minerals and impurities out of our water. We have 2 humidifiers and 2 c-pap machines and use 1-1.5 gallons per day, so it is used daily. The machine has run smoothly and even though it was an investment, it was well worth it because we don't have to lug heavy jugs home from the store each week. We do need to clean the machine more often than once a month as recommended, but it comes clean easily by using the included citric acid and boiling the water to clean it. I have no problem giving this 5 stars.

Works very well. Perfect companion to my small humidifier as one distillation fills the humidifier. Saves at least $2 per day compared to buying bottles of distilled water. And much more convenient.

Works well. Takes 4 hours to make a gallon of water. Puts off a LOT of heat. Fan can be a bit noisy, but I have it in a closet so I don't hear it.

I’ve been using this water distiller regularly and it does exactly what it promises — delivers clean, pure water every single time. The machine runs about 4 hours per cycle, which is totally expected for this process, and I appreciate knowing it’s doing a thorough job. The end result tastes noticeably fresher than tap or even most bottled water, and I love the peace of mind it brings. The build feels sturdy, it’s simple to set up, and cleanup is straightforward once you get into the rhythm. For the price, it’s an excellent way to ensure you always have distilled water on hand for drinking, cooking, or even mixing with baby formula and herbal remedies. The only drawback for me is the pouring function — it can feel a little clumsy when transferring water to smaller containers. Because of that, I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5.
