Received item intact in outside shipping box and manufactures box inside shipping box. All looked good. Set it up under covered front porch. Plugging it in made a very loud BUZZZING sound then sound when a way. Very warm outside to kill stink bugs. Never heard it zap for 5 days. About night 5 in I went outside to look at getting up at 2AM. Bugs crawling all over it not 1 getting zapped. Hate to say it, but another fine piece of junk China product. Got to quit buying this crap cause it only lasts 1/4 life cycle if that of higher quality American. Got busy, no time to look into return. Now I've learned return window closed 7 days ago only 1 month after purchase. Good luck with one folks. Wish I could give it no stars.

This bug zapper is bad ass! Super durable and almost entertaining to watch. I live in Colorado and for it being September it is still super hot out! Mosquitoes and bugs are everywhere still. I've decided to keep it up until winter. For whatever reason, they love my husband. He was getting bit multiple times in the beginning of summer - now he doesn't get bit at all. We are definitely very happy with this zapper.

does a good job and the quality is much better than the flotron---which has gone down to junk status.... I know , I have been running 10 zappers for over 10 years... but kapas is a failure on replacement bulbs, which you will need over time...you cannot get one and if you do it is way, way to high---that is the big letdown to a good product----john garner

hung it up and it worked fine for about 20 minutes and then made a noise like a buzzer fire alarm and stopped working. Returning back to Amazon and will go with a different one.*UPDATE* Seller reached out to me and offered me another zapper to try free of charge. Very nice gesture and the new unit has been working great for the past couple days with no issues. I initially returned this one when it went out and got a Flowtron version instead and while it works, it is no where near as quiet as this one. No humming at all.

Not really happy with it, it is ON all the time and barely catches anything on my patio, i used to have there one that is for indoor use and it was killing them by the hundreds, with the old one my puppy was afraid of the zapping sounds, this one doesn’t make any noticeable sound so my puppy likes it, but he’s the only one :(

Update - manufacturer sent a new replacement unit the same week. This one worked immediately. Great customer service but let's hope this one lasts.After reviewing a lot different bug zappers, decided to purchase this one because of the better reviews. Used twice, then it would only come on intermittently. Now, won't come on at all Don't buy this one- keep looking.

The mosquito was really bad in our area after a few warm days and rain. It was impossible to keep them out while we are letting the dog out in the morning and nighttime. I put this product on the porch right outside the door to the yard. It works wonders! The mosquito will be killed before they can enter our door. And we also used it indoor to kill fruit flies. Plus it is kind of fun to hear the sound of bug get on to the light.

This is a great product, big and durable, killed whole bunch of mosquitos and other small insects after one night I left it out on my balcony. We are on the second floor, there are several huge trees right outside the balcony, always attracts many insects and mosquitos which are quite annoying. Well I am happy now that this product really helps solve the problem for me! And it comes with a nice hanger so you can also choose to hang it anywhere which is very convenient to use!
