This style barrette is one of my favorites, but is sometimes hard to find in retail stores. This style stays closed and holds my hair very well. They are slightly curved to lay flat to your head. For a very reasonable price, these clips keep their shape, hold up well and last. This set is three colors, one each silver, gold, and brown tone, although sets of 3 or more of the same color are available.

I've been using Goody clips almost my whole life. I have fine-textured hair and I need small short barrettes or they slide out in a matter of minutes. These are almost the only brand that will stay in my hair and I don't want clips that are 3" wide (which seems to be the majority of brands), I want these, which are 2" wide and work well on the sides.They're working well. I still have my old Goody clips, they're more than 20 years old but I wanted some in different colors to go with my other outfits. This pack has the colors I need, two black, two silver, a gold pair that's a single clip (I already have double clips), and a couple of tortoise-shell style.

I looked everywhere at local stores for these barrettes and no ones carry them anymore, so I came to Amazon and was so glad to get them. I have thin hair & I'm growing it out and these don't pull on my hair.

I was happy to find these classic barrettes. I purchased the set of 4 mock tortoise shell barrettes and they look nice. They are a little difficult to open and close. They hold my thin hair very well, which is always a challenge. As I opened the package I noted a black substance on the underside of each piece. It was powdery and greasy and stained my fingers. I think the black material is used to make the tortoise shell dark coloring. This is a little concerning due to the staining, but my hair is dark so hopefully it will not be a problem. If I order again, I will likely stick with plain metal.

These are thick and hard which is good but do to tie too many of your hair. Size is smaller than expected. Designs and materials is very good. I do not have thick hair but it did not even work for me. Probably good for children who dont have very thick hair

I purchased these to fill a gift basket for a little girl. Her identity to me was unknown. The basket had small jewelry items, socks, small doll, coloring book and pencils, along with these barrettes. My goal was just to brighten a sick child's day, letting her know someone cared.

They hold my fine hair in place which is a big plus
