Great look and quality
I just got my magnetic grip a few days ago along with my new phone but i pretty immediately fell in love with it. I got the brushed steel and it looks very sleek and nice with the aesthetic I was going for with my phone. It is also surprisingly good quality mental from what I can tell. I also find it to be fairly functional as a pop socket and kick stand (strictly for horizontal viewing). It being magnetic and easy to remove but still very strong was surprising. I saw some reviews mention issues with comfort-ability so I was a little worried but the springs are a soft but strong plastic that I did not feel like was in the way. I have fairly large hands so I do have to wiggle my fingers in to fit under the pop socket but the spring is fairly accommodating. So far i am a big fan and while a little more expensive than other pop sockets ive seen the look, quality and compact style make it worth it to me.

Love but take off to charge
I’m obsessed with this thing. I love how thin and flat it is on the back of my phone. Never catches on my pockets. The spring is wire so can be a bit uncomfy if I hold it too long. But I shouldn’t be holding my phone that long anyways. Easy to take off to charge with the MagSafe, but strong enough that it never comes off unintentionally. I will say to be super careful about taking it off before charging with the MagSafe!!! This thing is metal and conducts electricity, so it will still charge with the socket on, but it will get DANGEROUSLY hot very quickly. Always always always take it off to charge!!!

Clear finish will peel
Initially I really liked this grip. It's comfortable enough and even helps balance out the camera bump on my phone in spite of it's thin profile. Unfortunately, like some that have also reviewed this grip, the clear finish on mine has begun to peel off. Functionality wise, I've had no issues but finish wise, it has not held up. The stand function works well and can even hold up my bigger phone (difficult when the phone is in the open position but works well in the closed position). Magnet hold is good and has worked well with the two cases I've used it on. Overall, I like the product but the clear finish peeling off so soon after purchase makes me wish I had chosen one from another manufacturer.

If it were better quality, it would be incredible.
Worked well for 2 months. After that, the holder that looked like solid metal began to peel. There was a thin layer of…. metallic paint? Or electroplated mystery metal??(hopefully not lead). I methodically peeled it all off. Appeared to be normal metal underneath… So I don’t understand the need for the mystery layer. It did stick well/fit on the magnetic circle properly. Was fairly comfortable to hold for short periods of time, but the thin wire coated in rubber would eventually become uncomfortable. I never really used it to prop the phone up, but it did work when you would stick the edge of the circle into the little gap to make it turn into a stand. So I guess it was “versatile” that way. It was the thinnest of all magnetic phone holders. It was also expensive compared to everything else. Almost $30, and didn’t even get six months worth of use out of it. Overall I would say it is decent if you just want something small and don’t mind spending $60 a year for throwaway phone holders. Eventually it stopped staying closed altogether. So, I’m looking for alternatives currently because now it will not stay closed at all. I can’t get it into or out of my pocket. I keep it around in case I’m going to be reading on my phone, other than that “bareback”.

Would buy again!
Update: I did buy it again. So after using it, I still really like it. Enough that I bought a second one. My first one failed after one of the grip wires snapped. Not sure if it just was defective there, or if it was from the stress of using it as a stand. Decided to give it a second go. The first one lasted just under a year. I've had the second one for a couple months. My second one is peeling the color off. If I end up buying another one, I might just go with chrome. *** I stumbled across this item. I thought it was a bit pricey and decided to buy it. Anyways. Absolutely worth the money! I love it so much. It's very comfy and out of the way. My previous brand name grip was bulky and always caught on my pants and everything. And the sound of it opening and closing is oddly satisfying. LOL

So far I like it! - Great customer service.
So far I really like it- very low form factor and fun to pop. Hoping that it holds up, since some reviews showed weakening hold over time. The good: -very small- only grip I’ve seen comparable to the Oh Snap (actually had mine on top of an oh snap and it was still smaller than most other grips on the market -Easily pops out!- much easier to pop out one handed versus the oh snap, and makes very satisfying clicks. Very fidgetable. - easily removed- can easily switch cases/devices with no worry of tearing proprietary adhesive. The bad: - no charge through: as simple as removing the grip is, I am lazy: if this feature were figured out, this would hands down be the best pick IMHO - can somewhat easily be bent if pulled too hard (as happened to mine) Edit: same day- while my son was trying to figure out the grip, the spring bent, causing it to not stay closed. I can’t seem to figure out any way to get the spring back into shape to make the grip work again. Not ideal how easily this happened 😬 Second Edit: adding back a star because I reached out to Tango directly to ask about fixing it, and got great personal customer service from Jack at Tango.

Good for first few months
this item worked well for the first few months. it was sturdy, the magnet was strong and it was smooth and easy to work with. I purchased it in Dec and have used it on an daily basis since. After the first 5 months, it would randomly spring open, or if used as a phone stand to watch videos, it would pop open. I noticed this last month the stability on it as gone down a lot. the spring is stiff, it opens and closes even more now randomly. It is made of steel so I thought it might last up to a year, but it's on its last leg now. I wouldn't purchase again or recommend it. I think economically it doesn't make sense and a pop socket has lasted longer for me then this tool.

Great product. Recommended.
Great product. Good magnetic strength, very sleek and looks great too. Opening and using is super easy. The only thing - The opening is a little too tight for my fingers. So while it's a spring and my fingers can adjust, it takes a bit to fit them in and also they start paining under the pressure after a bit. May be that should be adjustable or should have variations based on sizes.

Novedoso
