Loved it!
Good product for the price! Worked well when I used it. I suggest anyone who uses it for setting up a camper dish like I’m doing to also get the app on your phone that helps you find the satellites. Once you use the app which will tell you where to position the dish it’s a piece of cake getting it fine tuned with this product.

Works
In the end apparently the lnb was bad, so the finder did work, price vs features (which includes a beep) as well to help the pointing.

This unit does not pick up over the air TV signals
I was impressed with Amazon's return system. Because this unit does not pick up over the air TV signals, I had to return it and get a unit that would. This should be corrected in the units description so others won't waste their time. I was able to find another unit that does a beautiful job.

One of several items needed to manually set up my Dish and Wally
One of several items needed to manually set up my Dish and Wally. This little thing will not do it all for you. Yet, it is a handy tool that will audibly tell you when you've aimed at a satellite. I'm used to using a King Tailgater portable dish that self adjusts with my Wally receiver. This item was part of a number of steps and items I used to manually align my Dish Network 1000.2 Western Arc antenna (the black dish in the photo) and Wally receiver. This is what I had to do:Step 1: Go to the dish website and find the satellite-pointing-angles page and enter your zip code.Step 2: Adjust the skew and azimuth (left to right) on the antenna's bracket per the website.Step 3: Use a level to ensure the base (in my case, a pole) is perfectly level, or else every other adjustment will be offStep 4: I used a free Satellite Finder app (Satellite Pointer) to help point the dish in the general direction of the satelliteStep 5: Use this signal finder to adjust the elevation by setting it initially to 5, then listen for the highest pitch... That's his you know you found a satelliteStep 6: Unplug then replug the Wally to begin setup. Adjust the antenna (dish) to get a signal strength better than 40.The Dish Website said that my elevation should be 35, yet this little signal finder had me raise the elevation up to nearly 50... Without this satellite signal finder, it would have taken much longer to set up the dish.

No fault meter
Both two of these meters. One for me and other for a friend. Works great and finds signal quickly. Gives off a high pitch sound once the satellite is detected. After dial reaches a 10 reading, turn the dial down to a 5 reading and continue to move the dish. Repeat until the signal disappears. You now have the range of the strenght of the signal and and can adjust back to strongest setting. I would recommend this product to family or friends.

Great back up for Professionals, or Great meter in general.
Works great if you know how to use it. It's not too hard to figure out if you know how to twist little knobs and move your dish around till the meter screams at you !!! Its very acurate it just doesn't tell you what satellite you're on.

Don't expect much
It's difficult to use, especially on a big dish, because in order to read it you have to stand in front of the dish. And when you stand in front of the dish it affects your signal strength.
