After 5 minutes it would go off, and then within a few seconds go back on. My garage temperature is pretty normal (about 60F). I've returned it and am getting a replacement. I used to hate walking into the garage and by method of touching wall in the dark try and find light switch. Now, i don't have to do that anymore! This little thing detects your presence and once you open the door it turns the light on! How cool is that?!
