A23 battrery for the door bell

It depends on your make of bell push I use them gor mine, have a look at the old ones

What size is this battery? the one we are trying to replace is 3cm and it's a 23ae ... i can't find any with the e on them

Sorry I can’t give you the size, mine fit my door bell which I purchased from B&Q. All batteries have a model number, that’s how I found these, incidentally B&Q don’t sell the batteries.

Its a 23A 12v battery not sure what a 1028 is check on the internet for equivalent
