While it is a bit high in sugar, it has far less sugar than the non-organic, commercial equivalent. It is slightly crunchy but becomes very soft once it has soaked a bit in milk (how my husband prefers it). But after 3 minutes it feels like the cereal gets really soggy and texture quality is super diminished.
