With the initial install, I had noise coming from the GPU under load. It turns out that the noise was actually the back plate vibrating due to it being plastic. I was able to fix it by pushing up against the shroud "cover". Since then, I have yet to hear it come back. You can, also, use the GPU stand to help stablize it too. I didn't use it due to how my lower case fans are set up (mini atx build with GPU being right above from the lower case fans). I was close in YOLO purchase of the 5090 or wait for the possibility of the B770, but decided to get the 5070TI instead due to pricing. The high end card will have to wait a couple of years when finances are in a better place. I was not disappointed with the performance of the 5070TI. It autoclocked it's speed up to 2800mhz and I was able to play most of my games in mainly 4k high/med settings w/o upscaling. My main games are Star Citizen, Gray Zone Warfare and once in a while The Isle This is something I couldn't achieve with the A770 without dropping it down to 2k upscaling (performance). I can see so much more detail now. I haven't tried 2k to see if I can get higher frames. No, I will not go back to 1080p. Once you go 4k/2k resolution, it will be hard to go back to 1080p. I do have this GPU paired with a 12700k (soon to be replace with an I9) anf 128gb of ddr5 ram. The last time I purchased a GPU in this price was the 3060 a few months before the price drop (thanks COVID). Overall, as much as I want to support team blue, team green is where I will have to support for now.
