Does this take the place of the descaling solution or do I still need to use solution every 3-6 months?

No, you need to descale your machine monthly or bimonthly. I like my coffee so use these weekly, descale with white vinegar monthly. Simply better tasting coffee.

How do you use this or vinegar with small personal size single cup Keurig with no water reservoir?

I'm sorry, but I have never ordered or used this product. My review was for the Keurig brand water filters. I did check on Youtube for "how to descale a single cup Keurig brewer" and found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tocF9qPNEGs by Mother Daughter Projects. It is very short and demonstrates the process perfectly. I would recommend another rinse or two with water at the end, but perhaps the smaller ones don't need it. Anyway, good luck!

I cannot tell you what it cleans in detail as I can't see inside the pod or pod holder. I can only say it cleans to the extent that my coffee tastes better after I use it. Since I am the only one using the Keurig, I only use the rinse pod every two weeks unless I have made hot cocoa. I use only filtered water.

i was unable to find this pack on keurig.ca but was very happy to find it here - i normally run a "cleaning" brew, every morning after i make my coffee, (running 4 ounces of hot water only into a cup; been doing this for several years to keep the needle clean of grounds) and this product is good for extra maintenance
