An Elf's Story: The Elf On The Shelf (Christmas Decoration) [DVD] [2012]

This is a great movie for your littles to believe in Santa and elf of a shelf.

We couldn't even watch it. It said it was out of our region.

Hmm. Ordered this film before Christmas as it was both of my daughters first year experiencing elf on the shelf so thought the film would be great to watch on Christmas even when they open their Christmas Eve boxes, little disappointed in the film for the price, it’s merely more than 30-40 minutes long and the storyline is spectacular, my girls quite liked it but I’m sure as they get older they won’t be interested, my eldest is 3 and a half and my youngest is 2

Got this as a precursor to doing Elf in the Shelf over Xmas for the first time with my little boy. He loves the story and watched it several times.The story is really clever as it shows how the elf arrives to the door of its 'family' and it tells you some ground rules to follow, like dont touch the elf or theyll lose their magic. We followed all the rules from the story and even had the elf 'delivered' on the first by other elves as per the story. My little boy loved it and got right into the spirit of doing Elf on the Shelf.

Nice but short film (25 mins), watched with my four year old who loved it. Can see we will be watching this a lot in the run up to Christmas. Had to order an elf from amazon after watching this, can't wait to see his face when it appears!

Was a good Xmas eve box filler this was our first year doing elf on a shelf and my daughter loved it so much she was very happy with this dvd to finish off our new Xmas tradition with the elf it’s neally March now and still talks about the elf she can’t wait for him to come back in December

The kids loved it...came with a wee decoration :) Just bear in mind it is a short film....27mins or thereabouts.
