The beads soften in very hot water. Once the fitting material is softened, you take a small portion of the fitting material and stick it to the replacement tooth. The material fills the space of your missing tooth and some of it is pressed up and behind the neighboring teeth. Once the fitting material cools, it hardens and stays in place. If you do not get a secure fit the first time, you can reheat the beads as many times as needed until you are happy with the fit. **Q: Will adhesive bead material damage two adjacent crowns?
