The Sonicake Pocket Master is an amazing little multi effects processor that sounds absolutely incredible. Don’t let the price fool you, this thing packs a punch. It’s very small. The sounds are amazing. It’s pretty easy to use. There’s an app that’s included so you can tweak the parameters on the effects. These settings can also be saved to create your own custom sounds. There’s a drum machine to jam along with. There’s a 10 second looper. The effects quality is great. Lush reverbs, swirling choruses, massive delays and many distortions and gains to get lost in. USB audio interface. Built in tuner. Headphone out. Built in rechargeable battery. I could go on and on. I’m using it as a home recording/practice tool and it’s great. I’m sure it could also be live on a pedalboard as well. This is my second product I’ve purchased by Sonicake and I’m just going to say that the quality and sound and price point are amazing. I’m very impressed with this company and I highly recommend their products to everyone.

Hands down the best piece of gear I've ever bought. Don't even think about it: At $65 you will never regret this purchase. If you dont like ot just retun it, but I doubt you will. This thing is so freaking cool, they definitely undersold it. Could you go out and spend $100 and get a better (insert effect here) pedal. Absolutely. But this thing has EVERYTHING. If you are a beginner? Buy this and dont even look at the more expensive stuff. Songwriter? Dude, you can control this thing from your phone, finding the perfect sound has LITERALLY never been easier. Something they dont really advertise is the fact that you can import and export presets. So if I'm writing a song and I FINALLY find that perfect tone, I can save it or even upload it wherever my project files are so later I can come back right where I started, no need to spend an hour trying to find that perfect tone again. I cannot begin to explain how cool this thing is.

I needed something small for an out of town gig, and this thing delivered big. The amp modeling effects sound excellent, and with so many amps and cabinet options, you can dial in just about any sound. I found a base amp/cab setup I liked, and then added a noise gate and set EQ. I programmed a chorus effect, distortion, delay, and a boost to be turned on and off with an M-VAVE Chocolate Plus. The result was thousands of dollars in gear and a hundred pounds of weight compacted down to about a pound of gear and less than $100. I felt like I could have played any genre needed. Connectivity to your phone is easy, and the interface from the phone is way easier to use than on the actual pedal itself. Connectivity to the Chocolate Plus was also easy, and there are a ton of YouTube videos that can help with this. It took me maybe 30-40 minutes of watching videos and messing with the pedal before I had the basic setup down, and from there it was just tweaking my sound to what I wanted. I directly connected the Chocolate Plus with a usb-c, but it can be done through Bluetooth as well. I left my stuff plugged in for power, but with no power supply I found that it lasts ~3-4 hours with continuous use. Overall, I think this thing is great. I wish this technology existed when I was struggling to afford gear back in 2003.

It IS fun and definitely worth the price but to state the obvious: This isn't replacing a pile of expensive tube amps, Cabs and your entire pedal board on a gig. It IS a fun & portable practice gizmo with an impressive amount of flexibility if your the type that digs into effects settings and the various cab/amp models. It's also versatile enough to use as a sketchpad for recording various flavors of ideas. It's also useful for a keyboard with some tweaking. There IS a learning curve & ZERO instructions but with only three controls there's not a ton to figure out. DO get the app 'Soniclink' as it's MUCH easier to make (effect) adjustments than on the unit itself. Cons: I'm not fond of the looper and it's a bit noisy. Some of the presets aren't very usable without significant changes but that does happen... Make them what you want.🤔👍 Only had it a few weeks so I can't speak of it's durability. All in all it's a good idea that works, PARTICULARLY for the price.

I just got it yesterday. I tried out the sounds onboard. For Me there is about 10 stock sounds I will personally use. The sounds are very good in my opinion. The sounds I would not use are not bad sounds just sounds I have no use for. Metal, airy, weird etc. It is very small and does many many things therefore the app is important. It took a while to get it up and running. Windows 11 sometimes doesn't play well with it. It needed the special driver they provide and is the first thing listed on their website downloads. Computer would not recognize it until I got the driver installed. The battery powered function is very important to me. I also am interested in the NAM downloads. Everyone really brags about them online. I haven't gotten far enough too test them yet. I did download some and now need to watch another video to figure out how to load them etc. Like many things in life - Its got all you need built into it but you have to put in the work and learn how to get the goodness out. Sonicake did their work not you do yours

My 5 star rating is because of the cost to performance ratio - I have the whole little ecosystem setup at home with the app, the phone, the PC and the apps. I would also like to say that I use this with headphones since my guitar lab is in our den and my wife is sick of guitar - after 27 years. Lastly, before my comments, while I use this thing, I am sitting right next to a Bogner Twin Jet, a ‘78 Marshall JMP mkii, a Mesa mkiv, Mesa mkv and a Krank Rev. Objectively, I could easily use this thing at rehearsal or gig. I’m not concerned if the models are exact - they are not - but they do relay the character of the amps and once tweaked to taste over time, it feels good enough under the fingers. In fact, some of the presets that I have tweaked a little take the thing completely out of my way and I forget I am playing through a thing I paid $65 for - and to me that is shocking. The convenience is ridiculous and to have a Marshall, Bogner a Vox and a Mesa at my fingertips - that “get the job done” good enough - it is what I look for at this cost. The Bluetooth with app on my phone works great and I enjoy it greatly….the connection to the PC and audio streaming is also flawless so far. My final statement is this: for an old school, guitar volume knob player that does not want to switch between too many presets, you can setup 4 or so presets that will cover an entire 4 set gig as if you had access to a Marshall, Bogner, Vox, Mesa and used different guitars and volume knobs to ride through each preset for a song. I will always lean towards tube amps and always prefer to use a tube amp with a minimal set of pedals, but the state of modeling and capturing is so good now that the convenience and variety of tones is overwhelming- to the point that I can’t deny it any longer.

It's a pretty good product, very convenient and practical. My reason only giving it three stars is I'm having a hard time to find a tone I like for high gain metal stuff. Some of the amps is cloning for the high Gain stuff. Sounds very low resolution if that makes sense.

Acquired this during an Amazon sale, and at the discounted price point, this amp-IR/multi-efx device is a bargain. Really, one of the better features is the relatively limited and straightforward set of choices for configuring each of the effects components. Less is more, in this case. Contains just enough amp and IR models, modulation, delay, reverb, compression, and drive/distortion controls - as well as a noise gate. This is a versatile little device that is not over-burdened with too many options. Some have mentioned the noise floor and the need for a noise gate... well, there is nothing particular unusual about that. I would just say that, per usual, the clean settings are relatively noise free, whereas the high-gain settings introduce noise... esp in combination with the built-in compressor. This is pretty normal. On the plus side, at least there *is* a noise gate option. Perhaps the second best feature of the device is control via the SonicLink app. Makes creating timbres from scratch or from a preset simple. It's easy enough to edit presets on the device; but on an iPad, it's a piece of (sonic) cake. All in all, this is the perfect little device to while away the hours, practicing with headphones. Overall functionality is adequate for doing all you need to craft a particular tone, as long as you are content with the sometimes limited control over individual effects components. Time will tell about long-term build quality. For now, quality seems great. My biggest gripe with many rechargeable battery devices is the inability to replace batteries. And since battery powered use is one of this device's strong points, it's a shame that a battery cannot simply be replaced, rather than the device itself. If I had to pick one particular shortcoming, it would be the quality of reverbs. Am just spoiled by high quality verbs, and those on this device are mundane. There are enough settings and controls to create some variety, with limited control. Also, some may find the overall timbre of this device a bit harsh. Perhaps. But first consider just what you get for such a limited investment: it's a more or less a self-contained practice device. I have many pedals and find myself taking this one out because.... it is easy to use, I *want* to use it, and I find quick satisfaction, when I just want to sit down and play. No greater compliment can be paid to a guitar effects chain + amp. Yes, there is a limited looper (never used it) and no real drums unless you use the app (i.e. not native to the device). Seems rather silly to be upset about those functions being incomplete, considering what you *do* get for your hard-earned money. Recommended, if only to see how far consumer guitar technology has come.

Certo non lo consiglio per suonare dal vivo, anche se sarebbe possibile, qui dipende da cosa si vuole come suono finale, io non amo i suoni digitali. Ma chi li usa lo troverà comodo, ti porti chitarra e scatoletta e vai nell'impianto. Ne ho comprato anche un'altro per mio nipote, quindi è uno strumento ottimo, soprattuto per chi studia o per chi come me prova senza dover attaccare ampli valvole in casa o non vuole disturbare usando le cuffie e potendolo fare agevolmente in qualsiasi luogo. Potreste divertirvi con gli amici collegandola alla vostra casa bluetooth in giro per la città. Insomma strumento davvero azzeccato.

Sûrement le meilleur multi effet pour ce prix. Entre la polyvalence et la qualité des effets je pense que c'est difficile de faire mieux dans cette catégorie de petites pédales à modélisations ou bien juste multi effet si on enlève les simulations amp/cab. Un peu long a régler juste avec la molette mais sinon très facile avec l'application. Au top pour l'utilisation que j'en ai.

Wrong version sent. Ordered the transparent white, received the purple one. As it's for a special occasion, I don't have time to return it. Good product it seems, but I can only hope my kid won't be disappointed.

音も良くＣタイプでiPhone 15proに録音も出来て良かった。ただ録音する時iPhoneから必ず電力をとっていくので、iPhoneの充電がすぐなくなる。給電しながらiPhoneを接続するとiPhone側がエラーを起こす。なのでそこだけはマイナスかな。リズムマシンもあってルーパーもある。リズムマシンはしょぼかった。ただ全体的にみてとても良かったので星５つつけます。

I don't write a lot of reviews but this unit is a fantastic deal. The quality of the available sounds are unbelievable, at this price point. It's a very compact unit that I highly recommend. It sounds great, it's inexpensive and it runs off a built-in battery! I bought it for travel but I'm actually going to be using it at home a lot and it might end up replacing another unit I have, entirely. The ability to load NAM profiles, at this price point, is a welcome surprise. My main interest with this unit was the ability to load NAM profiles. If that is your main interest, here are the steps I took, with my Apple devices. While these are the steps I took, I still recommend reading the manual, first. These steps should be similar for Windows and Android but your mileage may vary. 1. went to Sonicakes' website and downloaded and installed the pocketMaster software on my Mac computer (NAM profiles were added in a firmware update). I also download the firmware update and the manual. 2. powered up the PocketMaster and hooked it up, by USB, to my Mac. 3. used the software to update the firmware. 4. downloaded the Soniclink app on my iPhone. 5. enabled bluetooth on the PocketMaster and launched the App, pairing my iPhone with the unit. 6. went to the Tone Hunt website and looked for NAM profiles to download to my phone. 7. went to the amp button, in the app. 8. under mode, I clicked on the Clone tab. 9. selected "import clone" and navigated to the unzipped folder and choose the NAM profile to import. 10. selected one of the 5 available slots that said 'empty,' in the app, and pressed "import." 11. tried several NAM profiles in the patch patch I was in to see how they sounded. Final thoughts: I'm blown away by the ease of use, functionality and tones, at this price point. I wasn't keen on some of the presets but every unit I've ever tried was like that. It's a a simple thing to tweak, until they sound good. Frankly, my main purpose was to use NAM profiles with effects and I'm very pleased with how that sounds. The effects are excellent. I wish looper was longer than 10 seconds but the drum patterns and ability to jam along to Youtube Videos on my phone, is all I needed. The PocketMaster is selling out for reason.
