Newbies opinion
I think its important to say upfront that I'm writing this from the perspective of a brand new person to the subject.I found Harmony Nice on YouTube, like most other people who have left reviews. She is incredibly charismatic and I think the way she communicates herself online translates much better than on paper. Her videos are captivating and really hold your attention on the subject at hand. This book, however, feels like it could have been written by someone even newer than me. I do belive that Harmony knows what she is talking about and I think that anyone can tell that she has a strong faith and is passionate. As this is written as a "modern guide to witchcraft," I expected this to go into detail regarding the history of the wiccan religion and the fundamental beliefs of being a wiccan. There was not one single word written about the history, and only very superficial, brief points about the belief. There is a lot of reference to "the beliefs" and how important they are to a practicing wiccan, but almost no detail on what those beliefs actually are, besides that it's nature-based, and the whole idea is "If it harms none, do what you will." As this is a whole religion and not just a self-help book to help you achieve a happier life, I have to believe there is more to to the religion that this. She also states multiple times in the book that being a wiccan is not just a "fashion statement" or just an aesthetic, which somehow feels almost like an oxymoron because most of this book is about the surface topics of wicca. When I buy a book about a guide to wicca, I anticipate it to be about the foundation of the religion, and not just the more sensational topics, such as zodiac signs, crystal meanings, and what to do if you don't have a garden. I understand these might be important to the faith, but it's not where you start. If anything else, this a good book to get you excited about practicing wicca. It's definitely not an all-telling book that will solely prepare you to be a wiccan (which I don't think was the book's intention), but it does address some other hard issues that I'm guessing some wiccan books may not, which is not being accepted, how to deal with it, and gaining confidence in faith. The book held my attention, and while I don't think it contains all the info I need, I would recommend it to someone to explain the very, VERY, basics of the religion in a way that makes it seem not scary and very lighthearted.

Would recommend
I preordered this back in October and finally it’s here! The book has good starter info and nice illustrations. I took off a star because I was pretty disappointed the cover did not have the beautiful foil detail that I was expecting. Not sure why it’s different but as reviews on YouTube clearly show it has the foiling, including harmonys book cover reveal. Love harmony and love the book, would have paid a bit more for original cover tho.

BUY THIS!!!
Amazing book! The cover design is beautiful and the quality of it is very nice!As for the content, it is my favorite book on Wicca and magick I have ever read! I also think this may be one of the most well written books on the subject, especially for the modern era. It may even rival the works of Cunningham! The writing style is very clear and easy to read, almost as if you are having a conversation with her as she is writing it. It brings the basics into an easy to read format and you can get a clear understanding of how to start. If you are an experienced practitioner, you can still learn from this book because she is very open about her own experiences in the craft and how her life changed as she delved deeper into it. This teaches you not only the "how to" but also the "how it changes everything for the better" and the "finding yourself" part of the craft.I was excited for this book and I preordered when Harmony announced it on her YouTube channel. I do not regret the preorder and I HIGHLY recommend buying this book and learning this subject from such a beautiful soul as Harmony Nice!

Amazing book!!!
Very beautiful book. Not only is it very informational it makes the author more personal and gives an amazing view into why harmony decided to start Wicca. The cover page is amazing and I think shows how much she cares about this topic. Cannot wait to finish the book. Maybe she should write another ;)

Wicca at its finest!
This was an excellent beginner book for new Wiccans. It is also a great to use as a reference for seasoned Wiccans. It goes over the basics which is where everyone needs to start. It is an easy read with cute pics and a gorgeous cover. The pages are printed on recycled paper so she practices what she preaches by respecting the environment. This book gives a comprehensive overview of Wicca that will leave the reader wanting to explore and go more in depth on their own. Blessed Be and Enjoy! <3

Great Introduction to Wicca & Witchcraft
Overall I really enjoyed this book. I love watching Harmony Nice on YouTube and consider her very knowledgeable in the fields of Wicca and witchcraft. Though I don't consider myself a Wiccan, I've always been interested in witchcraft and pagan religions. I was looking for an intro-level book to get me back into the basics of witchcraft, and this is exactly how I'd describe this book. It does a good job of introducing many general aspects of Wicca without overwhelming the reader with information. I wouldn't necessarily recommended it to someone who is not a beginner in the craft and is looking for something more in-depth, but this is a great jumping off point for newbies. At times the narrative voice was a bit clunky, but I can't be mad at someone for their writing style.All-in-all I definitely enjoyed this book and will be using it as a reference guide in the future.

Informative
I purchased this book for my 13 year old daughter. She has been following Harmony for a while via YouTube etc. I thought it would be a good idea to read the book first. For a first time writer a very well written, & informative. Nothing for me to worry about where the content is concerned. I therefore handed it over to my daughter. Within a few days she had finished it. We both enjoyed the book, it was at level where we both got something out of it.

Aimed at wiccans, however useful to all witches!
Mostly aimed at wiccans however witches like myself can find this book useful too. There are many amazing topics within this book that give you insight to different aspects of witchcraft and how to overcome challenges such as 'others not accepting you' , ' working in small spaces' , 'wicca on the sly' and much more. Love this book and think it's also a great resource for beginner witches/wiccans/pagans who want to research different practices and ways of witchcraft.

Basic and patronising
This book is so basic that it’s almost insulting. The constant grammar errors, over-explaining common sense concepts, and glossing over actual important core concepts of Wicca gets very draining. I’m always wary of ‘aesthetic’ looking books on magick but I attempted to overcome my bias and purchased this book anyway. Big mistake - no new information at all; everything in the book can already be found on google or on Harmony’s YouTube channel. Harmony claims she has been practising Wicca for years - reading this book, however, you’d think it was written by a child who went on google and copied and pasted some basic information. The only legitimate references Harmony includes at the end of her book are two books by Scott Cunningham and one book by Skye Alexander. I suggest you read these instead, as the author simply repeats information that has already been shared and recorded by others.I am sure Harmony means well, but unfortunately this is a pass for me. I wouldn’t even recommend this book to a young beginner witch, honestly. Young people are not stupid and they should not be subjected to a book where the author displays little more than outline the very, very basics of Wicca (with an added awkward writing style). There are much better books out there for complete beginners in Wicca and witchcraft.

Overwhelmingly Mediocre
Pros:. Easy read. Great for beginners. The author is passionate about WiccaCons:. Nothing you can't find online. You won't get much out of it if you're not a beginner. Contains misinformation. The information on deities is shallow. African deities are not Wiccan.. The entirety of Part 2 is completely unnecessaryTbh I don't have much to say about it, the book is average. I wouldn't spend a lot on it.

I found it!
I didn't know or Harmony Nice before buying this book but I've been opened up to a community of people my age who practice Wicca because of it, and I could not be more grateful. This is an easy and informative read that promises more to come, and through this book I have become aware of Harmony's YouTube channel where she not only goes more in depth into Wicca in her Enchanted Endeavours series, but is also a noticeably bubblier, happier and more at peace person, encouraging respect and love for yourself and others. It's a very good space to be in, witch or no witch. This is the first book on Wicca I have read having been searching for a while to find a faith / religion / practice / spiritual routine to follow through my life. I have read countless books on other beliefs but had not found a deep felt connection until reading about paganism and witchcraft independently. I felt a strong connection to witchcraft through my family tree and loved the respectful nature and the many forms of deities represented through paganism, but didn't know how to class or incorporate both I to my life. Thus, Wicca came to my attention.Through this book I have learnt many ways to practice witchcraft, divination and peace, while also appreciating the many forms the deities take and how to celebrate the sabbats.Having been researching paganism, witchcraft and Wicca for about a year now, I'm ready to say I've found the faith I need to give myself the power to be who I want to be, I've never been in a better headspace, and I'm so happy to follow Harmony and learn from her in future.
