Great Battery Life, Quiet, No Small Engine to have to Fine Tune
The media could not be loaded. I detest having to work on small combustion engines, seems every season something or nearly everything needs tuned up or overhauled to keep working properly. Likewise, the constant noise associated with running small engines starts to wear on my nerves. However, I was skeptical that a battery operated pressure washer would get the job done. This is definitely worth the buy if you do any amount of pressure washing and want to monitor your water consumption or simply avoid the hassle of small engine maintenance and repair or excessive noise. I used 60 gallons of water and was able to pressure all 4 sides of my old 2-story farm house, which with one 5.5-foot extension and the Multi-Angle Rotary Spray wand I was able to reach 2/3 of the way up the sides and one end of my 2-story full garage, on 2 batteries (I purchased a spare) in 2 hours. You can hook this up directly to your garden hose, however, considering the dry season we're having I preferred to use the bucket attachment to monitor the amount of water I was using. In the video it may appear that all of the mildew was not being removed; however, it was all removed. In a second session (video) I used 25 gallons to pressure wash the north end of my garage which had not been done at all last season and had excessive mildew. The residual that is evident was actual discoloration from the excess mildew having been on the siding for 2 seasons. However, after completing this entire end of the garage the small amount of bleach in the water removed the staining.I would recommend getting the 2nd battery if you have projects that will take more than an hour, unless you want a long break while the battery recharges, which takes several hours.Pros: great battery life - approx. 1 hour, easy to assemble and use, great accessories, great manufacturer warranty periodCons: handle for pulling the unit came loose within first 1/2 hr and kept slipping out of the anchor hole, attachment for securing the wand to the bucket is flimsy and pops off often if you attempt to pull wand to harshly - neither of which is a deal breaker.

Good attempt, could use design and quality revisions, expensive overall.
This is a good pressure washer for those without a nearby water source. As a car detail enthusiast and living in an apartment without a garden hose, this was what I needed. As everyone of you who will read this review, the price is a real eye opener, expensive because this is the only product in its class from a reputable manufacturer in this performance range. If only Dewalt, Milwaukee or any cordless manufacturer (ahem) would make something similar, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.I received this unit yesterday, used it today. So, this is 1 day old from opening.PROS:Requirements met, mobile, cordless, decent pressure and nozzle choices included.Aesthetically pleasingRolls nicely2 year manufacturer warranty40V battery can be used for 2 other Sun Joe productsLight weightNice brass one-way valves and fittingsTwo inlet filters, one brass, one plastic.Quality hoseCONS: - see details belowMinor design complaintsChoice of materialsPoor quality in high wear componentsCONS Explained:Design:- Bucket is rectangular and hoses, nozzles and gun holster are mounted all on one side, yet there is only ONE bucket carrying handle in the middle. I can't picture anyone carrying this bucket with that handle empty, let alone full!- Unit comes with a garden hose attachment adapter and a cleaning needle, and no place to put it. A storage compartment or dummy fitting to attach the accessories to would be nice.Quality:- Galvanized steel on screw adapters, including top inlet and hose outlet threads. Stainless or brass would be preferred.- Cosmetically marred aluminum carry handles- Nozzle clips are plastic, one of mine is already loose and no longer firmly retains the nozzle.- (High wear potential) The clamps that hold the bucket to the base is weak, one of the clamps had popped out of its socket in shipment to me. One clamp currently does not produce a firm "snap" when clamping into place.- Wheels are secured by plastic braces and screwed in. This is nice for replacements, but not super good for longevity.- (High wear potential) Battery compartment door is secured passively by 2 weak nubs. Overtime, these will most likely wear out. Given a 30 min usage time with 5.0Ah, you're basically opening and closing the door every time you use this.- (High wear potential) Recessed male plug for trigger assembly to hose connection is made of plastic. I can see this failing over time.- Not sure if this was poor QA or as a result of poor design, galvanized inlet thread has chalky, filmy, white crust beyond the inlet filter, which may eventually clog up your machine. I can't tell if this is from the plastic of the inlet filter, being rubbed against the steel, or this was just residue from manufacturing. I was able to use a wooden popsicle stick to scrape it off. We'll have to see if there's another build up after next use.First impressions:Pressure is definitely not strong enough to strip cured, healthy paint. Cannot strip tar/slurry marks off textured concrete (using 0degree nozzle). Highest pressure (800PSI) with 25degree nozzle does not hurt the hand. For a car wash, it does the job, but if I could have one wish, I would like to have at least 1 or 1.25 GPM, currently it sits under 0.8.I would give this a 4 star if it wasn't for the price. Judging by the quality of the build, this unit would be more fair at 50 dolls less.

high pressure, multiple heads, and easy to maneuver - updated
As an older woman with arthritis, I need something that is maneuverable and not too heavy or difficult to assemble. I was able to put this together by myself, and I had no trouble moving it around my pool and patio area despite a lot of stuff being spread around the area. The tank holds 5 gallons, so I need to refill the tank about every 10 minutes or so. I used the widest head (there are 4, ranging from 1% to 40% spraying angle) and highest pressure (there are 3 settings), and it really removed dirt, debris, mold, and green stuff very well even though I was just using water with no cleaning agent. The only downside is the battery life. It works for 30-60 minutes, and then you have to recharge the battery, which is too hot to recharge for about half an hour, at which point the charger will accept it again; the recharging process takes several hours. For big jobs, or ones that you left so long that they became big jobs, you have to plan for several sessions spaced around 4 hours or so apart. One solution would be extra batteries, but they cost about $170 each, so that is expensive. For ease of use and efficiency removing dirt, it is far superior to the previous hose- and wire-connected one that I was using, but you do have to plan to spread the work out while you repeatedly charge the battery. Or maybe now that will inspire me to use it often enough that the jobs remain smaller. Update: You will want an extra battery. Last year I got a cheaper off-brand battery, which worked well but died after a year. The original Sun Joe battery is still working, and I have just ordered another Sun Joe battery so that I will have two to alternate. Also, I left the nozzle thingy on the pressure washer over the winter, and it was rusted shut this spring. I am now soaking wet nozzles in solvent rather than leaving them on the wand.

It works for what it is
The first unit I received had some issue with its motor or power supply. Glad the exchange through Amazon was seemless. The replacement so far works perfectly. I've used it to wash my car. Even though at its highest pressure setting it cannot be compared with plugged power washer, it definitely gets the job done nicely if you have some patience. I also bought Amazon brand foam cannon just to test for fun. The result is that the pressure is just enough to get the cannon going but it doesn't produce a thick layer of foam. Overall, it is a wonderful product.

Does the job.
The media could not be loaded. This works great for what I need. You can attach directly to a hose or use the bucket. Pre-soaked my truck, went over it by hand with a brush and soap/wax mix. Pressure washed off and it’s clean as it can get using 2/3 battery lights. 4 different spray attachments and 3 power settings. No problem so far. The video is on the lowest power with the 15 degree angle nozzle.
