Excellent Vibrant Colors
This is a great item. The item comes with adhesive strip on the item plus, 8 more rectangular pads that can mount the strips. The item does comes with a battery pack that has a cover for it and the lights connect via USB to power the item. The lights are super bright and are flash lights. Also included were some zip ties for mounting to the bike. I have not had a chance to test it on weather (rain) but seems thick enough to not be effected. The item strips have enough cord to mount from the top tube/frame to the bottom tube/frame. This made it easy to set up it without needing any extra slack but enough to connect everything together. Highly recommended

One of the better lighting setups I have seen. Check out the photos.
I have tried many different designs for bike lights being I build low rider bikes as a hobby and lights are key on some of them to show off style. That being said, this is definitely one of the better light kits I've seen for a bike. That says a lot coming from someone that has used the lights for the wheel under seat kits frame kits inside the actual tubing of the bike setups this really is a quality light kit I just want to stress it. We're going to start with the ease of use for setting this up which is absolutely plug and play. All this kit needs are four double a battery and you plug the type A port into your controller, and then you turn the switch on, and you have illumination. I do want to note that the box that the 4 double A batteries are going into are very well protected in that Velcro case, which again is something I appreciate. It protects a rather simple box from the elements, whether it be water, mud, just simple wear and tear of the seasons, it's important to have things like that and I feel they did good with this product adding that Velcro case as its not common. The price point of these lights were also really good they were not overpriced as a lot of them can be I want to say it was around 15 to $20 maybe even less I can't remember off the top of my head, but I do know it was not over $20 and for what you get with the assembly is absolutely worth it. They thought of it all they added the Velcro strap the twist ties plenty of lighting chords that you could really get creative with and one source which is that box and it's protected via the Velcro case I mean this is a simple product a plug-in play product that just works. I have special plans for this one being it is a quality lighting kit to where I have not installed it on my low rider bike as of yet but I can assure you that the light does not flicker does not circuit out which is why I also added a picture of the type A or USB connection that it has a little smart logic board in there which prevents that and finally the lighting itself is pretty darn vibrant. All said and done I think 4 stars is a great rating for these lights they look good and they protected the module well which again is rare typically they give you just the plastic module and it's up to you to figure it out and I have burnt through those using plastic bags to protect it from the elements which creates heat and all sorts of different methods that ruins the module. So, to have a Velcro case around that module is just such a big win for this product and why I feel like it's worth it and I would recommend it.

App not as plentiful as I had hoped in features.
Bummed as you are not able to pick the multiple colors and than use the picked colors in one of the preprogrammed modes offered on the app. I want blue and red only and the closest I can get is Red, Green and Blue in a programmed flashing mode. I was hoping the app would be like my curtain lights where I can do exactly what I described. Bummer. Not sure if I will keep them or not.

Good app, good weatherproofing
These are cool led lights that come in two strips split by about 8 inches of wire. They are meant for a bike or scooter but work great on my electric skateboard too. The app is super easy, other than connecting , it can take a moment sometimes, but no big deal. It also doesn't have a login where you have to register, which is a huge plus, that's annoying on stuff like this when it ask for that. I am using a small battery bank that I have, instead of their battery bouch, but if you want to be able to use AA batteries, it's a nice option. Recommend keeping the thinner wire that connects the two lights and runs to the USB plug taped down as much as possible to keep the wires from getting ripped. These also come in a better wetter proof stripping than most I had before, which is good for me because a skateboard is much closer to the ground.

Awesome battery powered bike lights
Well, I was more excited about these than my teen son, who I ordered them for. Just be aware that your kids may not find these as cool as you think they will. Initially, he didn't want to put these on his bike. But he regularly rides around town with friends after dark, and doesn't have lights on his bike. I got these to remedy that. The directions were very easy to understand, so installing with the attached sticky tape was a breeze. He did it himself in about 8 minutes. The battery pack takes 4 AA batteries. (It would be awesome if these had a rechargeable battery pack). The description mentioned installing the battery pack on the seat stem just under the seat. This made sense for keeping the connection as dry as possible if caught in a sudden rain, but the end of the light string plugs into the TOP of the battery pack. So installing it tightly up under the seat makes accessing the string impossible without removing the battery pack (if you end up needing to access it). However, when I tried to use the included velcro wrap to attach it around the bike stem, I found the wrap was seemingly made to attach to something considerably larger than a stem. I had to place the velcro so that the strap didn't hold the battery pack tightly against the stem, but instead allowed it to slide down until it reached a cross piece. Not ideal, so it required using something we already had on hand to place it where we wanted it. Still a great product! You download an app on your phone that allows you to control the light pattern and colors. I LOVE IT!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I actually added these to the bottom of my onewheel and had to trim it a little but it works overall so it's not just a bike light it can be used for onewheel as well if you feel like a little diy
