Great figure
It is good and the articulation is good for a thick figure plus the detail is great and it sized up with my other figures and the durability is good and it's weight is perfect and it is a great value for what you get

Here’s the thing…
Great mold, looks just like the movie! Even if the blue isn’t exactly accurate. For having single jointed arms you still get a decent bend. Very little to no ab crunch but you can still get good poses. Out of the whole wave I think The Thing and Silver Surger are the best value for your money. Especially with the size and quality. Looks great on the shelf. Hopefully Hasbro makes another MCU Hulk so you could have them together on the shelf. But definitely recomend getting the whole FF team.

Here's the Thing...
I don't buy many Marvel Legends figures, but I had to get this "thing" because of my excitement for the new F4 movie. It's one of the best figures I've bought from the company. The details are rock-solid. Every crack and chisel looks like Ben Grimm stomped right off the screen and onto the shelf. It's bigger than the average Marvel Legends figure and stands very solidly. The articulation is surprisingly smooth for such a bulky build, making dynamic posing a breeze. Let me just say... It's Fantastic!

Awesome figure.
Awesome figure and I got him for an awesome price which was $24 but he’s a big figure and it’s good how he maintain his articulation so overall I think he’s like a nine out of 10 figure you should definitely buy this figure although I do wish he had a little bit of a better ab crunch

Fantastic ;) detail, but small in size and limited in articulation
I purchased this figure because it is an affordable option for a The Thing figure, who is my favorite member of the Fantastic Four. This The Thing is modeled after the new movie, and it is very accurate to what we see on the screen. Despite some of this figure's shortcomings (to be discussed below), it has quickly become one of my favorites since I opened it, because the pros vastly outweigh any cons. By far the greatest pro is the incredible detail in The Thing's rocky skin, and this rock detail is consistently amazing throughout the entire figure. Some parts of his skin have a little grey or tan wash that really emphasizes the rocky texture, but this is not applied throughout the entire figure. If it were, it would have really elevated what is already a fantastic ;) attention to detail, but this is a minor critique. The pants are likewise nicely sculpted with good line detail and color. Additionally, the articulation of this figure is very smooth. As far as cons, I wish Hasbro had applied the same attention to detail to the grey wristband on The Thing's right arm (which is removable). On the figure, it is just a plain, grey sculpted plastic with no paint. Unless you look closely, you cannot see any of the details that are present in the picture on the back of the box. A little paint on this wristband would have really made the wristband pop. I also noticed a few imperfections in the black paint at the bottom of the pants and in the grey paint in the white of the pants (pictures included). A few minimal cons include the figure's size and the number of accessories. First, although this figure's proportions are fine on its own, compared to other big figures like the grey Hulk in my first two photos, The Thing is much shorter and skinnier than I would like to see. He is also the smallest compared to other The Thing figures currently available. The Thing is indeed canonically smaller than other heroes, like the Hulk, and taller than the average human. However, he is also canonically capable of fighting someone like the Hulk, which is hard to imagine with this figure when he is compared to these other, much larger figures. To align with this, I would have liked to see this figure be about 10% larger in height and mass. Second, this figure only comes with two fists, two open hands, and the wristband. The hands are fine and standard, but I would have liked an additional head sculpt. The head sculpt he comes with has a sort of smirk, which is silly to see in a serious or nuanced fighting pose. It would have been nice to have a serious head, or even a bearded head, which we see in the movie. By far the greatest con, however, is this figure's limited articulation. It is pretty much standard to have butterfly joints in figures, which this figure does not have. To be fair, I'm not sure how butterfly joints would affect the detail in the rock described above, so perhaps Hasbro opted for a nice rocky chest aesthetic over good posability in this regard. It might also be impractical to have butterfly joints on a figure with this kind of texture. Regardless, no butterfly joints significantly affect this figure's posability. Furthermore, this figure has practically no forward abdominal crunch and an unrealistic amount of backward abdominal crunch. This makes it impossible to do many nuanced poses. Finally, there is no boot or calf swivel, which they could have included where the white and blue colors of the pants meet. However, this figure's generally amazing detail is what elevates it over its limited articulation and small size. It still stands out on the shelf, and with some creativity, the poses can overcome its articulation shortcomings. If it had a decent forward abdominal crunch and butterfly joints, if it were slightly larger in size, and if it included an alternate head sculpt, then this might just have been the definitive The Thing figure. Overall, this is worth the purchase!

The Hulkster at his best.
My grandson loved it! Bigger than expected and well made.

Blue eyed Thing
This version of Ben Grimm is great and matches the MCU look but it should be slightly larger. He has an extra pair of open hands along with his closed fists and has a good range of movement. Figures like this seem expensive when there are a lack of accessories and should be priced a little less. Solid MCU take.

A movie accurate representation of the Thing
At first I thought this figure was small in size for the scale, however when you watch the movie he is actually correctly in proportion to the other FF members. A FF top and white boots would have been nice, so hopefully one day Hasbro will make such an alternate version of the Thing (this one appeared for about 15 seconds in the movie pulling an ocean line by the anchor).
