I ordered this for my kid when they turned thirteen and were enthusiastic about theater, music, and performing. I figured this might be a little less daunting than a guitar to start with, and now that we’ve gotten it open, I must say I’m interested in learning the ukulele. This package comes with everything needed to get started, including a case, extra strings, picks, a capo, and manual. I used an app to tune the ukulele and we were off and running. The ukulele itself is shiny and beautiful, and it sounds great. I’m very impressed by this kit, great for beginners as a gift.

Took a long time between ordering and delivery.

I was so excited to order this. I've wanted to learn the ukulele for years, and this seems like it's high quality and will be a great instrument to learn on. I'm impressed with how well-packaged this was. The ukulele itself was carefully wrapped, then enclosed in its fabric case before being boxed. But you also get quite a few accessories, making this excellent value for your money. It comes with a strap, several picks, a capo, extra strings, and an instruction guide for newbies like me. I went with the 21-inch size. I'm not sure if that's the best size for me, but it should be good to learn on, and I'll try a concert or tenor size later if I take to it. It's very lightweight, and the gig bag with backpack straps is great for keeping it protected at home or on the go. The ukulele looks lovely with the mahogany finish. It obviously comes untuned, so you'll want to tune it before you start playing. And remove the silica packet from inside the instrument. (If you hear rattling, that's probably what it is.) This set has everything you need, making it easy to get started.

I picked this ukulele up for my 10yo daughter, who has been taking guitar lessons. This kit includes everything to get started playing, including the carrying case, picks, strap, and even spare strings and a lesson book. We used an app on our phone to tune it, as it came pretty loose from the factory (as expected). The quality and craftsmanship of this ukulele far exceeded my expectations. According to her guitar instructor the sound quality matches his more expensive one and he was impressed as well. Overall, VERY pleased with this kit.
