Q: How do you know the size to get? I have a 3 1/4 inch palm. I'm 5'4"

I ordered (and am happy with) medium. I’m 5’9” and my hand is 4” across including thumb.

Q: Will these give my injured thumb a break or make it work harder?

Hello ! Your thumb is not engages. I have arthritis in my thumb and these paddles do not hurt it. Happy swimming !

Q: My daughters hand measure just at 7” in length. Which size would fit her? Anyone with a similar size hand?

I ordered a med. To make sure they fit. I am a woman's small, size 6 ring.

Q: What size would an 8 inch hand use?

The correct size is determined by the vertical length and the circumference (excluding your thumb) of your hand. A medium paddle is suggested for a 7.25” vertical length and 8” - 9” circumference. A large paddle is suggested for a 8” vertical length and 9” or more circumference. Hope that helps!
