Is this really formulated for fountain pen use as well?** A: Despite what the bottle says NEVER EVER EVER PUT ANY Windsor and Newton Calligraphy ink in any fountain pen! This ink has pigment particles just like the inks used for painting pictures. While there are some inks made by companies such as Platinum and De Atramentis that have a type of pigment in them that is fountain pen friendly no Winsor & Newton inks are safe for fountain pens. I'm hoping that is possible to remove both the nib and feed from the fountain pen that is clogged. You're going to have to do some scrubbing gently with a very very soft toothbrush on the outside of the feed. For the inside of the feed you might try Koh-I-Noor Rapido-Eze Pen Cleaner. If that doesn't work you may want to try a stronger ammonia and water solution at maybe 2/10 ammonia to water, instead of a 1/10 solution. There's also speedball cleaner which I use at times in a pen that fountain pen ink has dried in the feed. Unfortunately the agents that are used to clean calligraphy ink off of nibs would destroy the feed to your pen. Even then, it's wise to wait until dry and use a spray ale glossy varnish to seal it. Steadtler makes permanent waterproof pens for writing on acetate sheets that stays put very well.
