Very nice pot. Thick material and nice looking. Great basket too! I love it.
I like to make almost two cups worth of tea at a time instead of one. Most pots of this nature are either extra large to make enough tea for a family to drink all at once or alternately so small you can barely squeeze a single cup into them. For my needs this one is absolutely perfect however. I can get just the right amount of water in it (with a bit of room to spare if I ever want a bit more.)Another big concern I had versus many others is durability. I bought this to replace one I had that looked beautiful but was actually a super thin glass. I always knew eventually that one would break. This one is ceramic, so it is breakable, but it's thick and tough -- it will take a lot to actually break it. A normal drop shouldn't break this one. The material is also nicer versus a metal. Something in the material differences even seems to cause a slight difference in taste versus a metal container I would swear (it may be placebo, but it's worth noting in particular that they have extremely different thermal properties which could be related perhaps.)Another thing worth noting about this one is the basket. It's the best I've ever seen. Rather than a wire mesh, it's more of a super thin material with countless very tiny holes. This still lets water through unimpeded and doesn't interfere with, for example, matcha, but it has one nice advantage: it is the easiest to clean I have ever seen. That's not to say leaves (particularly stems -- even the best teas usually have a few) can't get stuck somewhat in them, just far less than a mesh. It takes a lot less time and effort to clean versus the usual wire mesh -- and less water when using the faucet too.If I had to search for a complaint, all I can come up with is the handle was a bit loose stock and the metal scrapes a bit. I took it off for a moment, bent it just a tiny bit inward, then put it back on and it's no longer loose. While I had it out I wrapped just a very tiny bit of tape on the edges that stick in the pot and it no longer scrapes either. This is a pretty minor nitpick anyway even if one doesn't want to do either of those things and I would absolutely use this one without doing that if I had to.All in all, this pot makes making tea a bit more pleasant and I like that.

Nice looking teapot
Hubby wanted a teapot with a top handle, that he can easily carry from the pantry to his office, at work. But most top-handled pots are cast iron, which is not what he can use ⊠for health reasons. (His iron levels are often high!) This one is ceramic, so we chose it.Itâs a nice looking pot! Hubby wanted something classy looking and this fits the bill.(I also ordered him a gray enameled stainless steel âtravel cupâ with handle, which looks nice together.)The only issue is the strainer. Itâs fine during steeping⊠but since it has no handle or âeasy gripâ, it hot to the touch and can burn your fingers. Hubby has to use the handle of a spoon to lift it and then grab it with a napkin.

Good size and well made.
Looks beautiful and has good hand feel too. For those with problems regarding the handle, squeeze it a bit before putting it on.
