Excellent for getting gear off the floor for small studios. The difference is amazing. see before and after pictures. The boom arm has no problem holding my lights/flashes with relatively large soft boxes. For mounting, I'd strongly recommend putting up a 1/2" or 3/4" thick board that covers multiple studs and then mounting the boom arms to the board. DO NOT USE anchors in drywall. They may be fine at first, but they will work themselves loose. Put a little extra work into installation and you won't regret it. The boom arms DO NOT swivel a full 180 degrees horizontally - the bolts securing the arm to the base plate are in the way and don't allow full range of movement - you probably get about 150 degrees, which is still good. Just be aware before you mount them because it may change how you use them.

We have several of these ring light mounts above every station in our barber shop. It’s nice clean way to have the ring lights displayed. Keeps them off the floor and the cords are able to be tucked away so it provides the function our barbers need without getting in the way. Easy to install and the quality is great. Easy to adjust as needed as all our barbers are different heights and all have different lighting preferences when they’re working

So far so good... installed it a week ago and it's been working great. I chose to do mine horizontally coming out perpendicular from the wall and used my own screws into a stud-mounted board. I also used some safety lines for a bit of extra support and to catch the light in the event there's a failure. Neewer's website states a max weight/load limit as 4kg ( or 8.8 lbs ), but the manual that came with it says the ST-WM60 is 3kg ( or 6.6 lbs ). The manual also lists a second model and limit: ST-WM100 is 2kg (or 4.4 lbs ). I'm attaching scans of the manual that came with the product for others to see.

Cam just as advertised. I worked well in my home studio. It's the perfect size that adjusts to my liking. It was easy to install and isn't all that heavey.

For starters, the reason this is a 4 star is because it does not go flush in any of the directions. Not vertical or horizontal can you place this completely against the wall/ceiling when not in use. For me, aesthetically and functionally it makes me want to find a replacement for this! As I am going to use this for many reasons but all of them would need a flush Mount against the wall. I think I may attempt to find extensions for the bolts that attach this to the plate and that may allow for the flush operation/clean up. Ok the good! This is extremely sturdy and easy to set up. It comes with four anchors, I prefer lag bolts but I had them already at home no biggie. I would recommend this to everyone that plans for this to be on display at all times. If you want to rotate it out of the way when not in use, keep in mind it will not sit flush! But great product so far with more flexibility at the device connection point than I expected.

I was looking for a way to free up some space and get a tripod out of the way when I found this product. As you can see from the pictures, it has my my small space a lot more usable by not only allowing me to suspend the camera from the ceiling, but can also flip up so that the camera is above and out of the way when not in use. I plan on getting some more when I can afford them in order to mount my lights as well, but so far I am very happy with this purchase. For those wondering, this is mounted to the studs in the ceiling for extra sturdiness using lag bolts. The included bolts are great for mounting to concrete, and it would be nice if they included regular lag bolts for mounting onto studs.

Amazing product, a game changer for content creators, I love this as it allows me to put my cameras and lights where I want to, and they actually stay in place, as it is very robust and well built. On top of it it's very easy to use and very discreet when folded in, which means you can have it in any room. I just love it, and will surely buy more once I upgrade my studio again.

Colis complet reçu dans les meilleurs délais et en parfait état. Nous sommes créateurs de contenu et de ce fait nous filmons très souvent dans notre petit studio. J’ai remplacé les attaches par 4 tirefonds de 10mm et de bonnes chevilles. Le résultat est super solide. Le bras sert de support à un éclairage et une cage pour l’iPhone. La manipulation est simple et la mobilité parfaite. Il ne faut juste PAS forcer mais faire les réglages tranquillement. Quel bonheur de ne plus avoir des câbles et des tripodes dans les pieds.
