Brown rice isn’t necessarily dark in color. White rice has been processed to remove the germ of the rice grain, is less nutritious and cooks in a shorter time than whole grain brown rice. **Q: Where does it state on the bag it is parboiled? I didn't want parboiled.** A: Hello sorry But uncle bens rice is parboiled rice that's what make the rice easy to cook and do not gum up this is the only rice i eat . you need to get a cheap rice they are not parboiled. **Q: Is Uncle Bens original whole grain rice organic or even gmo free.
