Yes as long as you torque wheel lug nuts properly. To the correct torque for your vehicle. I have been using it for years with no problems. And helps to keep rim and hub from corrosion and fusing together.

Yes, this is an option to apply to the brake pad backing to keep from galling to the piston cylinder, also retainers and contact areas where the pad slides in the caliper. Silicone grease is not a good option because it does not tolerate (and burns) >450F. High performance driving will push the brake pads past 800F.

if you look it up on you tube everyone says use less torque to tighten bolts since there is less friction and it lowers force necessary to remove bolts

Anti-seize usage is a carry-over from the days of "black"/uncoated plugs, like Autolites, which threaded into iron heads. I still use anti-seize today on plugs, just sparingly and the copper variety.
