Great motor!
I installed this on my Kobalt 65 gallon compressor and it fit perfectly. It runs smoothly and is quieter than the original motor!

Motor works great ! Amazon delivery was NOT !!!
The motor so far is running great and was an exact bolt on replacement for the air compressor. Amazon as usual FAILED TO DELIVER in the time it advertised, and my shop was down due to waiting on a motor that was promised in two days and took 5 to deliver. Amazon delivery continues to FAIL, Prime use to mean something, now it is just a video service.

Very quiet, well made.
I needed to replace the Emerson motor on my 3hp Ingersoll compressor. This motor is rated at 3.7 hp vs the 3 I needed. As other reviews, stated, it is very quiet, much more so than the Emerson ever was. When I first fired it up, I had to check to see if it was even running. It does get noisier at full load but not like the old Emerson. Plus, the quality and workmanship look a lot better. For example, the capacitor cans have 4 screws instead of two each, and are sealed with a gasket. The packaging was phenomenal, a box within a box, and surrounded by expanded foam. Also came with the shaft key.

Everything fit. Out of the box and installed in just over an hour. Quieter, and it starts quicker.
