Hated to return it, it would have been a waste to have our dog to get ahold of it!
Looks great, I returned the one I purchased because I was afraidOur dog would chase it down and break. It, she is a legend dog and one bite would probably break it. So returns it unused.

Good Product!
It's a good product. The only thing is that it would be better if it were bigger.

Too many tweaks.
I haven’t gotten through the institutions yet. Very confusing and intimidating. Not sure I will ever use this car. If you’re not into many tweaks look at a different vehicle.

Big Motor, Weak Steering Knuckle Connection.
The media could not be loaded. I was excited to test this 1:16 RC Off-Road rig by TWIKOMI, because it had a 390 motor in a 1:16 and a great servo. It comes in a nice box and the entire kit is a solid and looked great. It comes with (2)7.4 1300mAh batteries, the tires are good and the only thing I was iffy on were the cheaper non-oil shocks. They were way too soft and springy, but the rest of the car looked to be a respectable off-roader.Unfortunately, I broke the left steering knuckle by ripping out the connecting screw when it hit my tripod while taking video of testing(the actual hit is at the end of the video). For 3 minutes it ran like a champ(except for the cheap shocks), but I cannot give a full review with a broken test car.The car is great, but when it hit my tripod(a moderate hit), it stripped the nylon out of the knuckle making it impossible to screw back in, therefore benching the car in need of replacement parts.UPDATE:TWIKOMI, upon hearing of my damaged car, immediately contacted me, and sent a new replacement for review.I have a lot of RC cars of all makes and models. No matter how expensive or durable these cars can be, I have broken some part of them. I have a box of broken cars and a shelf of regular runners that work. The only difference is the ones that work, are all from companies with excellent customer service.TWIKOMI gets 5 stars because they had a new replacement car to me in days. In addition, I can get immediate help with a real person if I have any issues.Again, I have a box of very good broken cars I don’t even bother with, or buy again, because the company’s customer service is poor, or non-existent.For me, with RC, customer service is #1.I ran this car through rigorous testing for a few days, and have had zero steering knuckle issues. I’m starting to just run all nylon cars now, and have much less breaking, bending or tweaking like I get with my “”pretty”, all alloy part cars.Overall, this 1:16 basher is exactly what I was looking for: under $80, nylon, performance ESC, and the 390 brushed motor.Reasons for switching from expensive brushless cars and batteries, is I’ve found I get a lot more run time and reliability with brushed motor cars, and I can fill a pack full of 7.4V 1300+MaH batteries for the cost of (2)3S lipos. The 390 motor is the same I have in a 1:14 and 1:10 car, and it breaks their big tres loose easily. In this smaller 1:16, its power to weight ratio makes it fast and powerful by default. It has no problem keeping up with most of my brushless cars. The fully proportional ESC is quick, responsive, and with the strong servo, steering is excellent. For the price, it has performance parts in the big motor, good ESC and servo. Something had to be compromised to keep the price down, and the shocks are non oil filled bouncy and embarrassing to the motor and ESC. Out of the box running with these shocks makes the car handle deceptively bad. The rebound is all over the place, and stiffening them up with the included extension collars, still does not get them stiff enough to keep up with the 390 motor.Of all the parts that are easy to install(without taking the car apart), and vastly improve performance(besides tires), are the shocks. For $15, I got, then installed oil-filled 1:16-1:14 heavier shocks. With real shocks, this car transforms into a really nice sub $100 performance car! With a relatively inexpensive upgrade and excellent customer service, this is a 5 star car👍🏼

Surprisingly Powerful for the price.
I was very impressed with this kit. You get a controller, 2 battery packs, spare parts including a second body, and basic instructions. It is a very complete kit.Battery life really depends on the speed settings. If you max it out, the battery life is significantly reduced. On the slowest setting, you can basically use it on paved surfaces. This is a fun adult toy. It is not intended or designed for kids to use unsupervised. We drove it through the backyard on various speeds. It survived crashing into the pool, getting stuck in tall weeds, and my blue heeler (who chased it down, grabbed it and ran off with it). It is not a safe toy for dogs, that incident was unexpected. This would be a blast on a dirt track. It is really fun driving it through the backyard. The controller works well and has a good range. The battery packs have commonly available batteries if they require replacement.I really like that there is a second, complete body included. The thin plastic bodies are designed to break, this is so that the expensive parts are protected. Just like crumple zones in your car. This is a great deal for the money. Any RC car enthusiast will love it. My college age boys and husband think it is a hoot. Lots of family fun with this.
