Bright, good sound, good streaming app licensing, amazing resolution and auto keystone/focus!
Amazing clarity, color, brightness, sound, correct streaming licenses, and has auto keystone/focus built in even at extreme angles. Excellent projector for a wall, ceiling or screen! even the design looks nice if it is somewhere visible. highly recommended! Easy Google TV setup and has every streaming app we use and more. (Review photos are on a 100" projector screen)

Wow great projection and sound
This Aurzen Boom Mini projector has far exceeded my expectations. I am so impressed. The first thing I noticed in unboxing and setting this projector up with how well made all the components are. This is a solid projector, the speakers on it look as amazing as they work, the stand, which is hinged is so well-made and sturdy. Everything about it is beautiful in terms of look and feel. It also comes with a remote control that is extremely well designed, intuitive, and quick to get you where you want to be. The set up for the projector is pretty straightforward. I plugged it into an AC outlet, put batteries in the remote control, and it immediately self focussed the picture and oriented shape on the wall, then prompted me to pair the remote. It was so easy, and I was a little bit intimidated before I started but that shows you how good the software design is. Once the remote was paired, the software walked me through, set up, which included setting up the language and connecting to Wi-Fi. It immediately gave me prompts to set up Google TV. The remote control has buttons for other apps, such as YouTube and prime video. It is super easy to pair this with existing accounts from other service providers, and start watching movies or other media immediately. I can’t believe how good the software on this is, and how easy it was for me to get set up and watching content. The product description states it has 2 GB of RAM and 16 gigabytes of storage, and has 10k apps via GoogleTV. There’s so much that I will be exploring in the coming months that I probably have not watched before. The picture on this is really good, I took a couple of photographs with low lighting. It is watchable with the lights on, but the dimmer the lights, the crisper the colour. It’s ability to auto focus also really makes a difference, and it’s very sharp and nice. While my plan is to use this with wireless apps, it also has a series of concealed ports. It can run media off of flash drives, or can be connected to other devices like your computer. The audio for all of this is great given 20w Dolby speakers I am so thrilled with this, and it’s some thing that I would definitely recommend for quality and ease of use. Such a good design, and such a beautiful picture.

Solid projector with google tv
The Aurzen BOOM Mini Smart Projector delivers a surprisingly rich and engaging home entertainment experience packed into a compact, portable package. From the moment you power it on, it’s clear this little projector is designed to punch above its weight — especially in sound, picture quality, and smart features. One of the stand-out aspects is the sound quality. This projector comes with built-in speakers with Dolby Audio that fills a room far better than most mini projectors in its class. Whether you’re watching movies, sports, or gaming, the audio feels full and robust without immediately needing external speakers — a big convenience for casual home theater setups. Visual quality is another strong point. With native 1080p resolution and support for modern formats like HDR10, content looks clear, colorful, and immersive when viewed in a dim or dark room. The picture remains crisp even on larger projection sizes, making this a versatile device for everything from movie nights to gaming sessions. Portability is where the BOOM Mini really shines. It’s compact and lightweight enough to transport between rooms or take on trips, and setup is quick thanks to real-time focus and image adjustment — no fiddling with manual focus knobs. And thanks to built-in Google TV, you’ve got direct access to thousands of apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ without needing extra streaming devices. It feels almost like a giant smart TV disguised as a projector. However, there are some drawbacks. The brightness is modest (around 500 ANSI lumens), meaning you’ll get best results in darker environments; ambient light can wash out the image. The auto keystone function and focus, while convenient, aren’t perfect — you may still need minor manual tweaks occasionally. Another limitation is the single HDMI port, which isn’t ideal if you want to keep multiple wired devices plugged in simultaneously. Fans also produce a noticeable noise level during operation that may be audible during quieter scenes. Overall, the Aurzen BOOM Mini is a fantastic budget-friendly smart projector with standout audio, solid visuals, and great portability — as long as you understand its limitations in brightness and connectivity.

Triple win - beautiful looking, sleek performance, great sound
This is my third LED projector, the other two being already tied up by other members of my household. It's one of those devices that you don't realize how practical it is until you try it out. Granted, it comes at a cost as these aren't inexpensive - and this Boom Mini from Aurzen is the most expensive of them yet - but the convenience and output makes it something to consider if you have a small space or want a TV-screen experience without having a TV. This Boom Mini is a really nice looking projector, it performs very well with bright, crisp images, and it sounds great - so much so that you don't need to connect an external speaker, even though that's an option. The product comes with the projector, a power supply cable, a remote control, some cleaning supplies (cotton swabs and a cleaning cloth), and an instructions manual. Setup is straightforward as you simply plug it in and then power up the projector by pressing down on the control dial located on the top of the device. The control dial rotates with satisfying clicks and acts to control the volume as well as put the projector in standby mode. One nice feature is that the power supply plugs into the base of the machine, which makes adjusting the angle of the projector much easier. On other projectors I have the power goes straight into the main unit so you're always fighting or manipulating the power cord when changing the angle of the projector. Once powered up you need to pair the included remote which is simply done (the projector displays instructions on how to do this). Note that the remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included, so you'll need to have those on hand as the projector can't be operated without the remote. Once the remote is paired you set your language, region, and then connect to your WiFi network - settings all entered via the remote. It's unfortunate that you must rely on the remote but this seems to be the case for all these types of projectors. The advantage of this one is that the remote is quite nice, with easy to read buttons that are logically organized and provide decent feedback as you use them. The projector is, by default, a Google TV device so you're asked to sign in and set things up via Google. While you can sign in directly to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube as these are also installed by default, the only way to add additional TV/streaming apps is via Google so it's something to be aware of if you're a heavy user of other services. The first thing I noticed was how bright and crisp the image was. The autofocus and auto keystone correction work quickly and flawlessly, producing a clear image at whatever angle you set the projector to. It seems the device is constantly aware if there is a change in the placement or angle of the projector since the focus and keystone correction automatically engages whenever you physically move the projector. In addition to a great image, the biggest "win" for this projector is the sound output. I've only cranked this up to 50% and it was already quite loud. In addition, and unlike other projectors I have, the sound is nice and crisp. If you want high-fidelity sound or are a real audiophile then you'll want to utilize the ability to connect a speaker by Bluetooth, but for most uses I think the audio output will be sufficient. In addition to streaming via the WiFi connection you can also connect this via HDMI and USB. There is one HDMI port, two USB-A ports, and one audio jack located on the side of the device. They're conveniently hidden and protected by a rubber cover, but it's easy enough to access them if needed. If there are any drawbacks to the device it's the aforementioned inability to control the device without the remote. Also, the lens cover doesn't hold that securely so while it's solidly built and adds good protection, it does feel loose and becomes detached quite easily. Overall, this is a really nice projector and certainly the best one I've gotten. I really appreciate that Aurzen took the time to make this look good as the projector has soft, rounded corners, unlike the sharped-edged and more utilitarian look of other devices I've seen and tried. This means it's much nicer to have this out and on display in your living space. The fact it also delivers great images and clear sound makes it stand above the others. It should be noted that these features come at a cost, as this projector costs 2x to 8x what my other projectors cost, but if you're looking for a projector that's your main tv display I would suggest it's better to invest a bit more for a much better product.
