INSIGNIA 40" Class FE Series LED Full HD Smart Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote (NS40-FEFL26)

I bought this TV primarily to hang on my office wall for Teams and Zoom calls. It displays my company logo beautifully from a USB drive, works great for weather radar, dashboards, presentations, and apparently also does television things if you're into that sort of thing. The first surprise happened when it was delivered. I picked up the box from my porch and immediately assumed there had been some sort of shipping mistake. The package was so light that I genuinely believed they had forgotten to put the TV inside. I was fully expecting to open the box and find nothing but Styrofoam and disappointment. Instead, there was an actual 40-inch television in there. Modern TVs have apparently reached the point where they weigh approximately the same as a large pizza. I carried it one-handed to my office while questioning the laws of physics. The lightweight design made wall mounting ridiculously easy. No wrestling match. No emergency room visit. No calling friends and bribing them with pizza to help lift it. Picture quality is great, Fire TV works well, and it has been perfect for displaying company branding during client meetings. It has also handled streaming, weather radar, and everything else I've thrown at it without complaint. Five stars. Excellent TV. I still occasionally look at it hanging on the wall and wonder where they hid the rest of its weight.

I ordered the Insignia FE LED Full HD Smart Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote for my mom. She wanted to have a TV in her room. This 40” TV was just the right size. The distance from where she sits and the TV is placed is about 7’. She has said it the perfect size and the picture is clear and crisp. It’s a 1080p resolution. She does not see any pixels. It has a slim profile. 35.1”W x 20” H. Keeping her limited space looking clutter free. She didn’t want to hang it on the wall, but it has the VESA mounting holes on the back should you choose to display it that way. We had a friend help set it up and he indicated it was pretty easy to attach the legs and connect to the cable box. The HDMI, USB, Cable/Antenna and Audio ports are on the side and easily accessible. The TV has a several Streaming Service Apps built directly in. So, there was not any need to download the Apps. Just go through your settings and add your WiFi information to be able to log in. The remote is pretty easy to navigate. She hasn’t used the voice command. Keeping it relatively simple for her. But, it’s a great option to be able to have and use. Prices extremely well compared to other similar quality type and size LED TV’s I have seen.

I couldn’t be happier with this TV. The Full HD picture is sharp, the colors look vibrant, and the setup was quick and easy. Fire TV makes it simple to access Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and all my favorite streaming apps. The Alexa voice remote works flawlessly and is very convenient. For the price, this TV offers outstanding quality and performance. Highly recommended!

Easy plug and go with iPhone. It’s low level TV, so hi reflection. Good size, lightweight, My last TV Sony AQUOS lasted after congress made it mandatory, lasted 17 years. No complaints! Great delivery via FedEx and set up was easy!

I bought it on sale and it's a great TV. If you are looking for something affordable with all the smart features then go for this TV. It's more than awesome for the price I paid. It's very easy to setup. I am impressed with the display quality, sound is great and it's very light weight. You can even carry the box with hand.

It’s super easy to setup. I connected my steam deck, ps4 and soundbar(through optical cable), they work great. Excellent picture quality.

We wanted a decent size tv for our bedroom and we’ve had insignia brand before so when this went on sale for prime day I decided to snag it. The screen isn’t too bright for when I leave a show playing at night to fall asleep to and the sound is amazing quality. The feet were initially a little tricky to attach and thankfully we had a mini screw driver from another purchase since this does not come with one. I love that Disney+ is finally an option on a smart tv remote since we mostly use Disney+. I get this is an Amazon firetv but I wish there was hulu instead of Amazon Music on the remote. Other than that 10/10 would buy again and definitely recommend.

So far I do like the TV. I don't like the onboard advertising that comes with Amazon fire products. But for the on sale price of $69 you can't beat it. I also do not like the lack of full specs. I am trying to figure out what Bluetooth version this comes with. I heard that others have have said it doesn't come with Bluetooth. But, the fact is it sure does and it can be in the Amazon fire settings see pictures on this review on where to find it. It does have a 3 to 4 second lag which is the reason I would like to know the version, if it is 4.3, 5.0 or possibly 5.2. because I just got new JBL earbuds w/BT5.0 & I am trying to figure out if the lag it my earbuds or the fire TV being slowed by a 4.3 BT connection. I also upgraded the fire remote to the one with 2 additional programable buttons. I do like TV it's pretty quick in response with the remote. The shortcuts on the remote are really worth the extra 30$ purchase. Dropped one star because of the lack of BT info and lag.
