I bought these for a family camping trip and they worked awesome for s'more's over the firepit. The size was perfect length to make sure you didn't have to get to close to the fire and get burned.

I underestimated how far out the intense heat will travel from a fire. My hands were definitely feeling really hot while roasting hot dogs and marshmallows during our camping trip. However, these sticks worked as advertised, it was on me for not realizing just how long they needed to be and ordering a set that is too short.
