A tad over priced for size
Didn’t see the size, my bad. But for the size, I feel it’s a bit overpriced. But I’ll use it as a notebook for work.

Perfect size for trousers, beautiful paper
Perfect size for trousers, absolutely beautiful paper.Smaller than a recent iPhone, perfect for jeans pockets. The real draw is the paper though. Even though it's white (and not a more preferable cream/beige colour), it's beautifully smooth.. brilliant 'feedback' for pencil lead. The cover is very sturdy, can take a pen clip without bending or scratching.I also got the Jeans one from Clairfontaine, which is smaller (7.5x12cm) and has nicer-coloured paper. But I still only use this one -- the paper quality is exceptionally enjoyable! I find myself writing gibberish in the train, just to feel the pencil touching this paper!!

Classy superior quality pocket notebook - A detailed review
I bought a few of these Clairefontaine Age Bag 9 x 14cm notebooks to compare against their 1951 Back to Basics Le Carnet notebooks of the same size. The Two types are essentially the same. They both have the 96 pages of lovely smooth 90g/m2 Clairefontaine white paper, with feint ruled lines spaced at 7mm, and no margin. The notebooks are also centre stapled. The only significant difference is that the Age Bag has a much stiffer card cover, with a faux leather style embossed textured surface. I really prefer these covers over the thin 1951, because the notebooks feel more substantial, and I was confident that these would better withstand wear in a jacket pocket. The colours I bought were Red and Tobacco. The Red has a hint of wine to it, which I found rather elegant. The Tobacco is a deeper beige than in my photo, which I liked. The cover surfaces tend to show oily finger marks if viewed from a certain angle. The paper quality is everything you’d expect from Clairefontaine, and copes well with ballpoints and rollerballs and, most importantly for me, fountain pens. I put the notebooks through my usual pen tests, and tried out Parker, Diamine and Pelikan inks, with pointed, stub and flex fountain pen nibs. I did not come across any problems with feathering, ghosting or bleed through, even with a very wet flex. (Please note the ink blot on sample No.8 was my fault as I over inked the pen feed trying to get the nib as wet as possible. Even the blot didn’t bleed through the paper!) One test I forgot to do until after I’d already taken the photos, was with Sharpie markers. In common with other Clairefontaine notebooks I have tested, Sharpies and spirit markers bleed through badly to the other side of the paper, so those are the only pens I would not recommend.I am happy that I bought the Age Bag notebooks, not just because of the well behaved fountain pen friendly paper, but because the thick stiff textured covers look a lot classier, and are more hard wearing than the 1951 Le Carnet range. If you found my review helpful, please click the Yes button to let me know. I am happy to try and answer any questions you may have about this product.

Small pocket notebook for work
A small pocket notebook that I use for work. Use it to jot down important stuff only as this one is apparenty small. I just like that it fits in my pocket.

Great pocket size book
Great little pocket book. Ive got one for work use making notes of batch numbers and one for home use for shopping lists. Ive got the blue one and it reminds me a little bit like a passport.

A bit overpriced.
Good paper though the size is smaller than I envisaged (my fault). The ruled lines don't have head space. A bit overpriced.
