Like all OEM ink refills this Brother refill is expensive. But I have never had a jam, dried ink refill, clogged print head or other problem using Brother ink refills in my wife's Brother All-In-One. She doesn't print a ton of documents so this refill is worth the extra money to me.

Face it.OEM ink isn't cheap.But OEM ink won't gum up your printer.I'm a Professional Geek, and I make a LOT of money replacing print heads gummed up by cheap "Compatible" ink. I don't get paid for working on my own stuff, so I use the Real Deal.This was a few bucks cheaper than a large office retailer, and it was dropped at my door.All ink is a Cash Cow for the manufacturer, no matter what brand printer you have. Shop around and get a good deal.This was a good deal.Pay the extra for OEM ink, and avoid my bill. I don't come at a bargain price, especially considering Corona. Printers are a PAIN.And, a hint: if you don't use your printer a lot, print a test page once or twice a week.Sorry, fellow Geeks.I have Canon Photo Printers for photography, but the Brother is my Workhorse. Work orders, letters, quick print photos are child's play.And they work on Linux. The others don't.

I’ve purchased Brothers Ink cartridges from Amazon a couple of times and they haven’t disappointed me yet.

I have a Brother MFC-J481DW printer. I always use the high yield cartridges and have never been disappointed. I always wish they lasted longer, but I find the value for the money to be much netter then other printers and inks. I would not recommend the generic inks.
