PROS - sweeping and mopping in one go - Good suction - ⁠Can do standing CONS - the dry waste mixes with wet in one tank so a little messy to clean - ⁠water tank is small and needs refilling during the cleaning sessions - ⁠doesn’t go too well in the corners / under the furniture so I first clean that area with broom and then vacuum when it’s out - ⁠the parts will accumulate gunk even in one cleaning so I feel the need to disassemble after every use, clean the parts as the solid waste can get stuck (roller, cover, dirty tank, the area where the roller fits in the vacuum) and let it dry before next use

I haven’t used the Hydrovac lots of times but I am very impressed so far, cleans really well without leaving the floor wet, easy to use and the self clean function is brilliant, well worth the money ❤️

I absolutely love this machine! I have used a shark vacuum for many years, and every time we do a construction project in our house, I kill one and I go back and buy another one immediately! A friend of mine came by with her new shark Hydro vac to show me how it worked on our laminate floors, I was amazed by the results. I don’t mind vacuuming my area rugs, but I absolutely hate to sweep and mop ….but…. I have a black lab and a large house cat and they leave a lot of fur and dander all over the house. I would not recommend using this Hydro vac to vacuum area rugs, but it works really well to vacuum and mop the laminate floors. After vacuuming, I did use it to freshen up my area rugs, and it worked very well. However, when I cleaned the bottom, dirty water container, there was a large amount of hair that had to be cleaned out, and it took several minutes. I would recommend vacuuming first. I hate to mop, but this is an absolute joy to work with. You simply fill up the water container with some cleaning liquid and warm water and off you go. Mine did not work the first time I used it, I could not get the water to go through and get the brush to roll. After watching a Google video on troubleshooting, I found one that was very explicit about taking a paper clip and poking it through the hole at the very bottom of the water container. This worked perfectly, once I poked that hole completely, the Hydro vac started working immediately and left my floors very clean, almost completely dry and smelling like a dream. I don’t think my house has ever been so clean since we moved in seven years ago. It came with a good charge, but I did charge it for the recommended four hours before use. We have a small house, only about 800 ft.² and it can very easily clean our entire house on one charge. I absolutely love it, and would highly recommend it. I have been looking at this for a couple years, I’m so glad I finally purchased it! It is very easy to maneuver under and around any furniture. It stops working as soon as the water container is empty, and you simply clean and dump out the bottom container and you’re off and running again very quickly. And it has great suction power so it leaves. The floor is almost completely dry and I don’t have to keep the dog and cat and Husband outside for 20 minutes.

I purchased this item from Amazon and it was delivered in two days. I immediately took it out of the box thinking I would have to put it together, but all I had to do was just snap the handle into the actual machine. I used it this morning to clean all my downstairs floors. All my floors are wood or tile. I was very very impressed with this machine! I like that it tells you if you run out of clean solution or if your waist bin is full, while you’re working. It leaves the floors, barely wet and they dry very quickly. I find the feature of plugging in the machine into its dock and pressing the power button for it to clean the machine very nice!. I think that’s very helpful and it makes me feel better about reusing the roller pad. When I first started using it, I heard a scraping sound. I looked at the bottom and realized that was the squeegee. It did not mark my floors it’s made of rubber I believe, so it is safe for your floors. So far I’m very impressed and I’m looking forward to using it more. And my floors this morning have never been this clean! The price was just right! Oh, and another thing I love that you can switch to carpet mode and clean your floor mats while you are cleaning your floors. Shark really did a great job with this vac mop! I started this review the day after I got the machine. Then I thought I would wait and use it for a while and write the rest of the review. Well, my opinion has not changed! This is the best wet vac I have ever owned. It is worth every penny you pay for it! My floors are so clean and the feature that cleans the machine and the roller after you use it works tremendous! I would definitely suggest buying this machine is the best invention since the mop and broom!

Give up this product it's not as good as what described when mopping the floor it's really wet and it can't even pick up the hair

We have 4 dogs, 2 cats, and kids. Ours floors WERE dirty. We used this shark for a few days in a row, and our floors look better than ever! The water still comes out brown. This HydroVac is easy to use, easy to clean, and user friendly. The self clean is a great feature. My only complaints (which are minor) are the small tank for the solution mixture and the battery life being short, although we haven’t ran it out of battery a lot. Overall, I recommend this hydrovac! Great value for the money!
