Q: Hi, I've had these for about 2 weeks and the knot came undone inside the ball, is there anyway to tie it back together?

The knot is actually on the outside but if it came undone on the outside and the string pulled completely out of the ball it would be tricky to fix because you have to thread it back through the two holes and there isn't really a way to open up the ball without compromising the lights inside.

Q: Does each ball have different light settings? I have one ball that turns purple and the other doesn’t, also one strobes and the other doesn’t!?!

Both poi balls should strobe and change colors

Q: Are these the ones that have sand-like stuff inside that allows them to double as a shaker instrument?

No they are just empty plastic balls with lights inside

Q: Does it come with two? or do we have to purchase it again for the second?

Nah it comes with 2. They're pretty sweet too! :D haha I'd recommend them! Have fun!
