It would be a good idea to add the specifications of this product ... volts, mA, polarity, etc

9 volts DC (direct current) output. 500ma. Regulated. Tip negative. Sleeve positive. 3 meter cord. Status light flashes to indicate grounding problems. "Space saving" design compared to traditional adapters to allow multiple adapters to connect adjacent to each other on common outlet strips.

Is this genuine Boss/Roland product or 3rd party copy?

The box says "Roland Corporation" and "Made in China". If this is a 3rd party copy how would I know? It sure looks like its genuine to me.

Will BossPSA-120S power Adapter power Boss Digital Recorder MICRO BR (requires 3v dc)

It works on the Boss Roland BR-80 Portable Digital Recorder (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0052W4188/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I also recommend this case to protect it while carrying it around (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VPE1QG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
