Not a good product
After accumulating 6Tb of data the dive stopped working. I was able to extract about 80% of the lost data. I do not recommend this product.

Best thing is how quiet it is.
Works as described and works beautifully in the background. Good value and also includes very good support from Lacie. Using it seamlessly with Time Machine plugged into my Time Capsule as it's 2 Tb was no longer enough. Good to have on my desktop and it will be there for a long time to come.
