What is the difference between this and last year’s model?

The quilting is slightly different and the print on the inside zipper carriers. No major differences, but we are hoping the top handle is a little sturdier - that wa sour only issue with the older version

How long do the shoulder straps extend?

I’m 5’9” and I have the straps extended all the was to the end. I wish there was more strap length. It’s the only bummer about this bag.

I'm trying to decide between this and the Maman backpack. Recommendations?

I’m not familiar with the Maman backpack but I can tell you that this one is fairly petite. Initially we bought this for my husband to use when with the baby but it’s such a tight fit on him that I just ended up taking over it. While it’s petite it is extremely spacious! Literally I packed all beach/pool day equipment plus baby essentials in here.

Does this fit under an airplane seat?
