And great butt kicker interface for heavy Furniture
If you have a heavy piece of furniture this is an excellent way to interface your butt kicker. I would not recommend it for a lightweight piece of furniture because the furniture is likely to rattle or bounce off this interface. For something that's lightweight like a single chair I recommend fastening the butt kicker directly to the chair. But for something like a heavy couch or a heavy wood chair this is a perfect solution. I would also recommend buying some Teflon sliders for the other legs of your couch or chair. The nylon carpet sliders (see photo) have a quarter-inch piece of rubber on top of them and thus they add a little extra acoustical decoupling between the furniture and your floor. The nylon sliders helps a little bit especially if your in an apartment on the second floor.

Nice one
After buying new couch, had to buy this one, because it was impossible to get BK work without disturbing resonance noise from couch. So this truly did help and no resonance noise from couch anymore. Very easy to install. The only downside is, that the plate is too short that I could hide Buttkicker inside the couch :(

Buttkicker's best friend
Providing the correct platform for a Buttkicker is essential to it's performance and effect overall. Don't compromise on this cleverly designed accessory.

Not for LFE
It's a known issue around the net that the Buttkicker couch kit does not work well with the LFE version of the Buttkicker. At higher output, the use of the kit causes the LFE transducer to rattle very loud. Mount it directly to your couch. Guitammer should have designed a better mounting kit.

Not for the Advance!
Product is well designed and built. But this is not for the 'Advance' Butt kicker.

Kicks butt!
Worked as expected though I would think it would work better if between leg and couch frame

Great product, easy to install, just one caution.
This product works wonderfully in most applications. The only thing you need to be aware of is that if you are installing them on recliners, the recliners need to have feet. If the recliner has a round platform base, you need to be creative as the chair mounting kit does not fit well under the platform. I ended up making a paddle shaped platform to mount the kit and chair to out of 3/4 inch plywood where the mounting kit could slide under the 'handle' of the paddle so that the buttkicker would not interfere with either the chair rotation or the reclining. It also enabled me to slide the buttkicker chair unit completely under the platform. The other thing you need to do is to be very careful when tightening the nuts. You should tighten them evenly by rotating around the unit. If you don't you run the risk of breaking a foot on the buttkicker. After you get past this, hang on!! The buttkicker is an incredible technology!
