Chicken Socks Pop Bead Critters Activity Book Paperback – May 15, 2005

I bought this to use at my school with students for finger strength and coordination. These beads are a little bit easier to use than the others that I have so even the younger students are able to use the book and beads. Some of the animal body parts are larger so some students who would not normally be able to manipulate pop beads are able to at least use the larger beads. The book is cute and helpful when having the kids replicate the patterns with the beads. This is my best "therapy equipment" purchase this year. All the kids I have used it with have loved it.

This item looked awesome but arrived with only the large animal body parts and no beads to attach to them or make the patterns in the book. Very disappointing!!

We purchased this as something for the kids to do in the car on a long car trip. They loved it and have continued to play with it at home since then. It is great for developing fine motor skills in young ones. They pop together easy enough for my 2 year old to do and don't fall apart easily. Overall great product.

Cute, but not to many ideas. My kids quickly got bored with them.

Ordered this book for my 4-year old, and it is awesome! Lots of little beads to create all sorts of creations ... seems to be very good for fine motor skills ... he loves it. I recommend this for children that are old enough not to put the beads in their mouth because the beads are on the smaller side. Great product!

This is a great book! My four-year old grandson sharpens his small-motor coordination, while making the little critters, as well as necklaces and bracelets for adults to wear. There are also pages where he can lay beads down in a pattern, then continue the pattern on his own. It's good pre-literacy and math preparation.

We love Pop Bead Critters. What a fun, imaginative activity book. My kids will take this one out over and over to play with it. It's one of the best Chicken Socks books they make.

The book came without the beads. It is worthless if it doesn't have the beads

I have just given this as a present and it was an outstanding success. It kept my under 4 years old grand-daughter entranced for hours.

The bead element is good, though some make quite loose connections and come apart. The heads are good but the doghead in particular sags on the floor. I wish there was a way to order more beads as then you would have more scopeto make things. As for the book - well actually a waste of time. It's just a way of packaging the product.My 3 yr old granddaughter has had fun with the beads but not for long.
