Review: Fast, Comfortable, and Built for Every Run! - The Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 is easily one of the best running shoes I’ve ever owned. It strikes the perfect balance between speed and comfort — lightweight enough for tempo runs and races, yet cushioned enough for long training days. The PWRRUN PB foam midsole gives an incredibly smooth, springy ride, and the nylon plate adds just the right pop without feeling stiff or harsh. Fast, Comfortable, and Built for Every Run!
The Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 is easily one of the best running shoes I’ve ever owned. It strikes the perfect balance between speed and comfort — lightweight enough for tempo runs and races, yet cushioned enough for long training days. Great Speed Shoe for the Narrow Feet Crowd.
Context: I am a beginner, slow, heavier runner. Recently bought these for a great price since the Endorphin Speed 5 are coming out very soon. Personally love the color way and how the shoe feels. The quality of the overall shoe is great, the upper is very breathable and comfortable. The midsole is the PWRRUN PB which is on the firmer side, but you need that for speedier shoes so that you can get the instant bounce needed for fast paces. It has great stability on the heel and my feet feel well supported on that end. The main issue I had is just how narrow these are. I have wide feet and Saucony doesn't offer wide options for this shoe. Even then, with other shoe brands I can normally size up by 1/2 or even full 1 size up and my feel will be just fine. I sized up 1/2 and while it was more comfortable than my normally US Men's 11.5, it was still very narrow to the point that I had to shelf them after a couple of runs. I heard the Speed 5 are wider so I may try those out. Besides the width issue, I think these are great shoes for those who are able to fit them.

Very nice shoe but not for me
Very lightweight, very attractive. Arrived early! Unfortunately, it felt like my heel was elevated putting too much pressure on my toes. Would've loved to walk in these but I'm returning

Excellent road running sneaker
These are great pair of running shoes. I trained for, and ran my half-marathon, in these. They are very light weight and extremely comfortable providing an excellent fit with support. I have run over 400 miles in these so far and they still feel great so the durability is fantastic. I would buy another pair and fully recommend these.

Amazing running shoes for daily training
I am finally enjoying pain-free running after trying some different pairs of shoes. These shoes offer a great balance between cushion and responsiveness. It handles my easy pace (5'30-6'30/km) and my tempo pace (4'-4'45/km). It feels great on long runs thanks to the cushion. The only thing I noticed negatively is that the toe box is kind of tight, so if you have wide feet, definitely get the wide option. Also, I went on a run in the afternoon and my feet got pretty hot in the shoes. I should mention I was running on concrete and it was 90 degrees out. This is not a big deal to me because I usually run in the morning. I would highly recommend these shoes! Best running shoes I've purchased so far.

Amazing up-tempo training shoe
This is an amazing fast-paced training shoe if you have the right foot shape. You need to have a fairly thin banana shaped foot for these to work. They are narrower than the endorphin pro four. They feel very similar to that super shoe but they are a little heavier and they bottom out slightly for me even though I only weigh about 160 lb. I would probably not wear these for anything longer than a half marathon. For up tempo training these are amazing with a great super foam feel and a pretty aggressive rocker geometry up at the toe. I don't notice the plate as much as I noticed the stiffer carbon plate in the pros but to me that is a good thing. On sale for around a hundred bucks these are a steal. Long-term sole durability maybe an issue but I put shoe goo on them prior to wearing to protect my typical impact zones.

Cheap materials sink Saucony
I’ll start by saying I love Saucony shoes but this latest model is not up to par. I’ve had Endorphins previously that had a much more dense foam for the sole and they held up extremely well. This current model has a foam sole that is really light weight but garbage for longevity. The sole is made of what seems to be foam pellets fused together (think packing peanuts). The orange part of the sole seems to be painted, as it’s already scraping off on the bottom of the shoes. And if you plan to run in these, good luck getting more than a hundred miles, you only get a super thin layer of rubber tread. The fit is great as always and supports my high arches well but the durability is already awful with deep creases forming after a few short days of wear. The uppers are nice and the design is great but I consider this iteration of the endorphin as fast fashion. Highly disappointing for $125.
