I am a female around age 60 and had fun with this project. The caps are now one year on my fence posts and still look fabulous. Very easy and fast to install as long as the posts are not cut uneven but even then one can adjust and place an extra small piece on one side. Mine look all straight. You would never know that these are made out of plastic. None of them broke and I installed over 30 caps. These come in two parts. I first installed the bottom and screwed them in . The unit provides two opposite sections for it. It was no problem at all and this way I could make sure that it's level. At the end, I just pressed the top down and it snapped in. Best if you make sure that you like your bottom installation because once the top is on, it's difficult to remove which is great because the wind storm keeps the tops were they belong. I also recommend to stain your posts first, just easier and better for the protection of the wood. A fabulous product. which fits perfectly on a 4 x 4 wooden post. I find great pleasure looking at my fence posts and so do many neighbors who keep complimenting the looks of the fence. I just smile because I know how much money I saved!
