Quality DE blades, will buy again.
Super sharp blades. So much better than disposables razors and a lot of money saved. Cleanly shave a thick coarse beard and head with super sensitive skin. Never thought I would go back to blades after using clippers for last 2 decades but circumstances forced me too. Knew nothing about DE blades so took chance on these based on other reviews. Have used for last few months and very impressed with their quality. Placed in a good razor they glide over skin and give a clean effortless shave.

Very sharp, great value
Very sharp blades. If you even touch a hair with these blades at minimal pressure, it’s gone right away, unlike other blades I’ve used that require multiple passes to completely shave the hairs. If you’re looking for a blade to do line ups or just a really close shave, these are it. Quality control on these blades is great as well, they always sit the same in my straight razor. And the price is the chef’s kiss on top of it all.

Excellent and wicked sharp, quality blades.
Excellent blades when paired with a Henson\Dr Squatch safety razor. Shave my head daily with these, and they seem to be the best DE safety razor blades I can find. I appreciate that they're made in Japan as well. The packaging is also great, with built in dull blade storage. They cut so well, nearly effortless.

Just to gold standard.
Just the gold standard. These are in my opinion the sharpest and best blades that are widely available. They are cost-effective and give the smoothest shave. Feather has been my go-to for about 20 years now

Clean shave - High quality blades
Tips for long lasting blade: I get 9 to 10 shaves from each blade following this method. After shaving I rinse the blade and shaver thoroughly. Shake it dry. Dry the handle with a towel. Here's the trick - submerge the razor blade head in a little tupperware filled with rubbing alcohol for about 5 seconds. Shake dry, and store in a dry place until next shave. This method got me from 3 shaves without the alcohol bath to 9 or 10 per blade. Overall review of the blades: They are very high quality. I love the sharpness and clean shave I get with them. Very very happy I tried these blades. I plan to stick with these moving forward.

A match made in Japan!
I recently got back in safety shaving again. It was my fault. I didn’t want to have to become dependent on ordering blades online. I got the wrong mindset that all blades are close to being the same over the last 30 years. I resigned myself to no name drug store blades like grandpa did. I still had an old twin blade Sensor Excel from the 70’s. Well those blades cut well. At least they used to. Now they’re made from several countries outside the USA. None of it was consistent in sharpness; and they were getting pricey! So I decided to recommit to safety blade shaving. While reading to find good blades, I found a razor that was unique, priced right that came with 100 blades from a well known reputable company. I picked up a Parker Solo edge. It’s a nice razor with about a #3 cut. My first experience was, yeah….nice cut. Not baby but close but quite acceptable. Unfortunately the Parker blade were less than desirable (what do expect from china?) . I’m not a fan of excessive razor burn that even my Afta after shave couldn’t completely handle (leave me alone, I grew up on the stuff!). So I said, “ya know something, I’ve read enough glowing reviews about Japanese Feather blades that maybe it’s time to find out by trying”. I was inhibited by the under-shave educated guys whining about em being too sharp. Now close to $17 for fifty blades is actually a good deal. More expensive than many, but if you buy cheap like I was doing, you get what you pay for. I received the order on the same day that I was due for a shave (3 day growth) I pulled out my old Favorite 1964 Gillette J3 safety razor and went to work. (Pay attention new guys). If you have an adjustable safety razor, you alway dial in with a new blade. In the past I had a setting of 4. I started with these super sharp blades at 2. Pfft! 3…..hey is this thing cutting…..yeah but I’m not feeling a thing…..woah! Not baby butt but still mighty acceptable! Then up to a 4….perfect. Just like old times. It felt so comfortable that I decided to work the rough spots (cross grain cuts) and risk razor burn with these super sharp blades. Keep in mind new guys. Nobody ever won an award for the fastest shave. Fast shaves were put in your head by the advertising industry telling you “this is what’s best for you”. Then the manufacturers upped the cost per shave for ridiculous hype and profit. Well, I got that baby butt smooth shave. ABSOLUTELY NO RAZOR BURN! Feather blades are a perfect match with my face and 60 year old Gillette J3! I can snap the blades in have to use in the Parker Solo Edge too. Win win! As for number of shaves per blade is concerned…. Don’t know yet. My guess would be 4 with good blade management. Tips: after every shave pull the blade and clean it, wipe it down, let it dry. Reload it in the razor, only flip the blade over. This prevents a burr from forming on the cutting edge, extending the life of the blade by dulling evenly and preventing razor burn. As for the cost per blade….Pffft. I haven’t done the math, but .14 to .16 cents per blade…..who cares if you get 2 shaves out of it? It’s still light years cheaper than $5 per blade and 5 shaves. I’m extremely happy with my new Feather blades from Japan where those folks put their best into every task they do, no matter how small or big. And I’m perfectly happy to be using another not made in China!

Almost pefect.
Decent blades, but I didn't like all the wax on it. Clean blades would be much better.

Now my favorite
** UPDATE ** File this under "don't rush to judgement" To be fair, I was wrong about my first review (see below). I now have about 6-7 blades behind me and I am now a big fan. Yes, these felt overly harsh on my first blades, but give these some space before you pass judgement too. I now find these very sharp and super close. They become easier on the skin as you grow used to using them and I now am super happy with these. Yes - I will be going back for more!! Original below ...... I had high hopes for this razor blade. It should have everything going for it... made in Japan (they place a high priority of superior quality), Feather make a host of surgical blades and they get such high scores in the reviews. But I am not seeing these properties come through at all. I find the blades harsh to the skin, not all that sharp and they did not hold up too long. Sharpness - it's just not there at all. I have Henson handle and the RK blades beet the Feather, and I don't like the RK's that much either. I find Dorco to be sharper that Feather and Astra to be slightly sharper still. Comfort - Feather falls off here too. Very harsh shave. My skin feels stressed even hours after I have shaved. I could not wait to change this blade out. Back to Dorco today and I'll revisit Astra again next. Durability - Another fail here too. The Feather's start bad and don't ever get any better. I was happy to trade them out after day 3. I can easily get 4 or more shaves with either Dorco or Astra. Sorry Feather - I so wanted these to be a great blade.
